Access Hollywood reporter Maria Menounos used her role as VMA red carpet reporter for a little side job of “matchmaker”. Apparently Menounos had gotten wind that “New Moon” star actor Taylor Lautner has an eye for teen country star Taylor Swift. Menounos stopped Lautner and asked him “Who are you excited to see tonight? Lautner: “ Ummm… I’m excited to see Taylor Swift, of course.” Menounos: ” So… do you think Taylor is hot?” Later on the red carpet reporter Menounos wasted no time in asking Taylor Swift what she thought of Lautner’s possible crush on her. |

Very sorry for the delay on this post! Taylor showed up to the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards last night. He looked sharp in his suit as he usually does. I have added 5 high-res photos of Taylor on the red carpet and 12 high-res photos of Taylor during the show. He first appeared on stage with Shakira to present the first award for Best Female Video (yes, Taylor Swift’s win). Later, he premiered a new New Moon movie trailer with castmates Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. I’ll have incredible HD captures up tonight! Arrivals

Mark February 12, 2010, on your calendars, people; for that day is likely to see the box-office battle of the century. The Examiner reports that Twilight co-stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner will be facing off with each other for the hearts and dollars of moviegoers, as Remember Me and Valentine’s Day open on the very same day. Remember Me, of course, is Rob’s upcoming romance flick co-starring Emilie De Ravin. Valentine’s Day, meanwhile, is the star-studded Garry Marshall film that features T-Laut getting hot and heavy with country warbler Taylor Swift. |

The second full-length “New Moon” trailer contains everything the first teaser trailer and the “Meet Jacob Black” trailer have not: more Volturi, more werewolves and more visions of Edward. The newest trailer is being shown before screenings of “Sorority Row” (out today), but an extended version will also be exclusively shown at the VMAs on Sunday, presented by Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. |

This is rather epic… The second “Twilight” movie is arriving early in northern Utah, sort of. The theme of Utah’s largest corn maze this year is “New Moon,” the sequel in the popular Twilight saga. Although the movie doesn’t arrive in theaters until Nov. 20, this 24-acre corn maze opens Sept. 24 and continues through Oct. 31. Aerial photos show that two separate “Twilight”-themed maze patterns at Black Island Farms, 3178 S. 3000 West, have already been cut into the corn — a “Team Jacob” and a “Team Edward.” (In the movie, Bella can choose Edward or Jacob as her boyfriend.) The lettering “New moon 11-20-09″ is also a part of the maze. A side design in the corn depicts a KUTV reporter or anchorman holding a microphone. GPS technology is used to cut the intricate patterns into the corn. The idea of a corn maze is to enter and then eventually conquer the labyrinths by finding the lone exit. Getting “lost” is part of the fun. Black Island is a working vegetable farm, with about 400 acres in cultivation, growing carrots, onions, cabbage, corn, pumpkins, squash and gourds. Taylor Lautner admits he struggled to get into shape for Twilight sequel New Moon – because he had to eat lots and lots of “good” food! The 17-year-old actor insists weights and working out was a piece of cake, but says all the eating he had to do took its toll. “The hardest part was actually eating a lot of good foods and cutting out all of the fat foods,” he said. “It was about always putting something in your mouth. “Every two hours, I always had to have something. So, that was the most difficult part for me, for sure. I knew what I had to do and that’s what I did. I stayed focused, and it all worked out well.” |
