Taylor Lautner, the 17 year old Twilight star who soared to the top of Hollywood’s A-list in 2009, is predicted to be a ‘Top Money Making Star’ within just a few years. The Quigley Publishing Company’s 78th Annual Poll of Exhibitors names one actor and one actress as Stars of Tomorrow. This year’s they’ve named Taylor Lautner and Carey Mulligan as the two stars who are likely to make the Top-Money Makers list in the years to come. Lautner’s 2009 major projects include: The Twilight Saga: New Moon, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (2010), Valentine’s Day (2010), Saturday Night Live. Carey Mulligan had a breakthrough performance in An Education and was also in Brothers and Public Enemies. Check out the big names who were voted “Stars of Tomorrow” over the last five years. The actor and the country music singer were allegedly often involved in arguments about picking restaurants for date nights because they have different health lifestyle. Following report that Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift ended their romance, an insider has revealed an issue that was said causing the break-up. Speaking to National Enquirer, the insider said the pair could not agree over food as they have different health lifestyle. Lautner who is “a health nut” and has exercise regularly is said in the exact opposite of Swift who “hates the gym, takes only occasional yoga classes.” Moreover, the “Twilight” hunk reportedly follows an ultra strict diet while the country music singer is allegedly anti diet. Regarding food choice, the insider stated Swift’s favorite restaurant is “the Cracker Barrel near her family’s Henderson, Tenn., home and her favorite dish is their biscuits and gravy” in addition to cheeseburgers and some sweet foods. In contrary, “Lautner is very athletic and health-conscious, so he eats mostly low-fat protein like skinless chicken breasts, egg whites and vegetables and fruits.” Thus, the pair reportedly often argued about where they were going to have meal during their date nights. Additionally, the insider further claimed, “The only food option they can agree on is sushi.” Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift, who played coy about their special relationship, reportedly called it quits earlier December. “There was no chemistry,” a source told Us Magazine about the twosome, who was said deciding to be friends. Will “Twilight Saga” stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner attend next month’s Golden Globes? The Dish Rag has it on good authority that it’s a definite possibility. And if they do, there’s also a very good chance we’ll see them afterwards at at least one of the five official parties that night. OMG, this is better news than Rob’s unreleased photos! There are five parties already confirmed to take place on Sunday, Jan. 17, inside the Beverly Hilton where the Globes are traditionally held. And fledgling film company Summit Entertainment (yes, the “Twilight Saga” studio) has joined the ranks of the big studio parties being thrown at the hotel by Universal, NBC, Warner Bros, HBO, and Harvey and Bob Weinstein. As usual, there will the infamous Instyle/Warner Bros bash down in the Oasis Courtyard. And then there’s the Universal/NBC/Focus fete, held high on the hotel roof overlooking Beverly Hills, followed by the always hot HBO bash at Circa 55, spreading out around the pool. Then there’s Weinstein Company’s celebration, traditionally held in the former Trader Vic’s space. But the big news is that distributor Summit Entertainment — the folks who brought us the infectiously successful “Twilight Saga: New Moon as well as the critically lauded “The Hurt Locker” — will hold its very first onsite Golden Globe party this year. You might as well mothball those “Tay-Tay” and “Team Swifter” T-shirts you were printing out for the new year – Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner have split, and were never all that serious in the first place, sources tell PEOPLE. “It was never a big deal to begin with. The media made way more out of it than it is,” a source close to Swift says. “They went out on a few dates and realized this was just not going anywhere.” A Lautner source corroborated that perspective, adding that the fact the two rising stars lived nearly a continent apart was a big factor in the low-key break-up. “They became good friends and then went out a few times, but he lives in L.A. and she lives in Nashville and their busy schedules kept it from becoming more than it was,” the source tells PEOPLE. Representatives for Lautner and Swift had no comment. The day after Lautner, 17, made a Dec. 12 Saturday Night Live appearance in which he “defended” Swift’s honor, he flew down to Nashville to surprise Swift for her 20th birthday party. Sometime after the party, the pair decided that it made more sense just to remain friends. The couple, who met while filming the upcoming Valentine’s Day, had been spending time together since October. Photographers first got hip to the relationship when Lautner was spotted attending two of Swift’s concerts in Chicago, and the teen stars reunited three weeks later at an L.A. Kings hockey game. The down-to-earth pair were photographed earlier this month getting cozy over frozen yogurt after dinner at an L.A. Benihaha, and Lautner even met the ‘rents: Swift’s mother Andrea joined the two for a relaxed dinner at Bistro Garden in Studio City in October. |

So much for the two Taylors finding love. After three months of dating, country singer Taylor Swift and New Moon star Taylor Lautner have split, UsMagazine.com has learned. See who else broke up this year “It wasn’t really developing into anything, and wasn’t going to, so they decided they were better as friends,” a source close to Swift, 20, tells Us. “There was no chemistry.” The pair — who met on the set of the romantic comedy Valentine’s Day — first sparked rumors of a romance when she hugged him at her October 9 concert in Rosemont, Illinois. They have since been spotted on several wholesome dates — like their frozen yogurt date at Menchie’s alongside Swift’s mom earlier this month — and have each coyly alluded to their relationship on separate Saturday Night Live hosting gigs. However, the relationship officially fizzled when Lautner, 17, flew to Nashville for Swift’s birthday party on Dec. 13, a friend of the singer reveals. “He liked her more than she liked him,” the source tells Us. “He went everywhere he could to see her, but she didn’t travel much to see him.” Look back at every single Us Weekly cover in 2009! Steve Carell, Carrie Underwood, Ellen DeGeneres and LL Cool J are also set to attend the celebrity-filled ceremony on Jan. 6 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. The show will be broadcast live on CBS. Executive producer Mark Burnett says the stars “are coming out in droves to thank the fans for their love and support.” Queen Latifah will host the show in which fans vote for their favorite actors, musicians, movies and TV programs. Unfortunately, with regard to The Twilight Saga: New Moon, it’s not always good news. Among the top five most pirated movies of the year is New Moon, according to the BBC. The film is joined by Star Trek, Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen, The Hangover, and RocknRolla on that list. Other films which were heavily pirated this year included Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and District 9. While, from the looks of this list (and a scan of their situation in this year’s box office), pirating did not hinder a strong showing theater sales, it’s still not the most settling news that illegal downloading is one of the lists which New Moon tops this year. Though, it does speak highly of the interest surrounding the film . . . What needs to be remembered, though, is that in order for pirated versions of a film to be made available on the web, a person has to actually go into a theater and break the law at the outset by recording the movie. This jeopardizes their liberty – all for the sake of saving the would-be viewer a few bucks. While a website which distributes the film illegally might be more difficult to ascertain and prosecute, a person sitting there in a theater with a video camera is highly accessible (as we have well seen). So, do think twice before watching a pirated version of the film. Though it’s too late for 2009, maybe The Twilight Saga: Eclipse can avoid 2010′s list. SOURCE: Examiner |
