Taylor Swift has no hard feelings for ex Taylor Lautner. Although the two never crossed paths at the People’s Choice Awards at L.A.’s Nokia Theatre Wednesday night, it seems they were already on the road to friendship.
The two Taylors split in late December after three months of dating, Us Weekly first reported. “It wasn’t really developing into anything, and wasn’t going to, so they decided they were better as friends,” a source close to Swift told Us at the time. “There was no chemistry.” Swift also took home a statue for Favorite Female Artist. “What a beautiful, beautiful way to start out a new decade,” Swift said while accepting her award. “I want to thank the fans. You’re the ones who choose which songs on the radio you want to turn up and blast from your car speakers. And you’re the ones who choose which concerts you want to go see. Paramore lead singer Hayley Williams waved her Twilighter flag proudly when her band lent their pop-punk power in “Decode” to the “Twilight” soundtrack. But Williams said they actually turned down an offer to be on the “New Moon” disc.
Even though she didn’t contribute to it, Williams said she enjoyed the “New Moon” soundtrack. “I read all the books, except for the last chapter of ‘Breaking Dawn,’ so I won’t be giving up on all the movies,” she said. “I was really excited about the second soundtrack. I love Death Cab for Cutie and Bon Iver. I thought it was really good. I feel glad we were a part of the first movie.” Considering how successful the soundtrack ended up being, does Hayley regret the decision? “No, because our record Brand New Eyes came out in September, and we’ve been promoting it nonstop,” she said. “So, I’ve been so busy and so excited about that. You can’t really regret anything. We’re doing fine.”

Now before all hell breaks loose in the comments about how I haven’t released the Rolling Stones photos. I am at a point, just not tonight. I only have 8 in my possession and the bulk of the image are in the headers – so you are not being left out of much. I am allowed to post the images in a form of graphic based on the Fair Use Copyright Act, however I am not allowed to post the original image yet, that is why I cannot post them at this time. Contrary to reports stating otherwise, Tom Cruise will not be costarring in the forthcoming Taylor Lautner action flick Northern Lights. Though the idea of Cruise playing the controlling billionaire father of a young aerobatics pilot (Lautner) does sound pretty great, a rep for David Ellison’s Skydance Productions tells EW that character does not exist and that Cruise is not attached to the project in any way. The official logline: “Set against the backdrop of extreme flying, Northern Lights follows four young pilots as they compete against the world’s best. A story of teamwork, sacrifice, loss, and victory, these young aviators push themselves to physical and emotional limits in the unforgiving world of performance aerobatics.” The film — which, to be fair, does sound a bit like Top Gun with a need for speed and [insert imaginary word that means flips but rhymes] — will be directed by John Moore (Max Payne, Flight of the Phoenix, Behind Enemy Lines). Production begins this April in Louisiana. I, for one, am loving this. When I think of hot young pilots, I think of leather jackets, and Lautner, who will be 18 when he gets his wings, happens to look great in those. We also know that Taylor — who was a four-time world champion of extreme martial arts by age 11, and is the reigning Late Night motorccyle racing champ — isn’t afraid to push it. If action movies are what he wants to do, let him. The Twilight Saga will continue to show his softer side; pics like Northern Lights could even out his fan base. I’ve just learned that Taylor Lautner is now being paid per ab. That’s right, the 17-year-old co-star of the Twilight Saga franchise who’s famous for his buff physique that is making girls scream when he takes off his shirt in New Moon, is getting $7.5 million for his next pic. It’s called Northern Lights, a Tom Cruise vehicle to be directed by John Moore (Max Payne) with a start date of April 1st. The logline says the pic is about “a gifted, young, aerobatics pilot who faces off with his controlling, billionaire father and falls in love with a gifted, female pilot). It’s being made by David Ellison’s new company Skydance Productions, and Paramount has a first look at his development. That shitload of money negotiated by WME now makes Taylor Lautner into the highest paid Hollywood teenage actor around. (I’m told that neither Zac Efron nor Miley Cyrus have ever gotten a salary even close to that for their films. Amazing!) So the question is whether Paramount, which is in the Taylor Lautner business in a big way with the recently announced Max Steel, will pony up an even huger salary for the teen who’ll be starring as the title lead in their own upcoming blockbuster. SOURCE: Deadline I guess we believe Taylor Lautner as an angsty teen werewolf, so why not buy him as both Tom Cruise’s According to Deadline Hollywood, production will get started on April 1 with Max Payne director John Moore on board. Now I have nothing particularly against John Moore, but I suffered mightily through Max Payne, and won’t forget it soon. Of course he also made the flight-centric Flight of the Phoenix, so he’s at least got some propeller experience. The biggest news about this is Lautner’s gigantic payday, and the sense that he’s already of leading man caliber to star alongside Cruise. Given that Lautner hasn’t carried a single movie without the word Twilight in the title, that’s a pretty significant gamble. Robert Pattinson’s projects beyond Twilight haven’t really gone anywhere, though granted, he hasn’t been groomed as a new star by a studio in the same way. Summit Entertainment is silencing buzz that the Eclipse script has leaked onto the Web. The pandemonium began with rumors that Summit was holding test screenings over the weekend for the third film in the Twilight series. That was followed by fictional testimonials on various sites from fans claiming to have attended the preview screenings. “There is absolutely no merit to this claim,” a rep for the studio told MTV News. “We noticed it over the holiday on multiple message boards and sites, and it appears that some of this was spam.” While the script remains a secret to fans, many of the film’s stars have gushed over the next installment of the hit franchise, which arrives in theaters on June 30. “Eclipse was my favorite book, so it was a lot of fun filming,” Taylor Lautner told MTV at the November screening of New Moon. “It’s gonna be really fun. There’s a lot of comedy in Eclipse.” Kristen Stewart said the romantic battle for her heart between Jacob (Lautner) and Edward (Robert Pattinson) really intensifies in Eclipse. “I’m looking forward to seeing the love triangle actually becoming a problem,” she said. “We sort of innocently touch on it in New Moon, but it actually becomes something that is very, very real.” |

Twilight hunks Taylor Launter and Kellan Lutz ranked #1 and #2 respectively in Us Weekly magazine’s online poll, asking readers to “pick a pack of pecs” which they thought were hottest. The two Twilight boys were ranked up against equally delicious actors like Matthew McConaughey, David Beckham and Eddie Cibrian. Lautner took over half of the votes (51%) and Lutz fell in second with 19% of Us readers’ hearts. “I got into martial arts, and I love to swim,” the 24-year-old Kellan Lutz told the mag of his fitness secret. BEVERLY HILLS, California — If you’ve only seen the movie “Twilight” and plan to watch the sequel “New Moon” this weekend, you might get caught up in all the Team Edward vs. Team Jacob hype. If you haven’t read Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling novels, you might not know which monstrous young man ends up with Bella, and you might not know about some of the stranger elements of “Breaking Dawn.” Taylor Lautner, however, has read the books. And with a “Breaking Dawn” movie as inevitable as death, taxes and “CSI” spin-offs, he’s a bit freaked out about what’s to come. As Taylor told us recently, he’ll have to work closely with the film’s director to handle the delicate material. (Spoilers from “Breaking Dawn” are ahead!) ” ‘Breaking Dawn’ kind of came out of left field. It’s a very different movie,” Lautner grinned, remembering that he was a bit shocked last year when Meyer’s final novel was published. In the book, Bella and Edward get married, go on their honeymoon and give birth to a vampire/human hybrid baby they name Renesmee. Having lost the battle for Bella, Lautner’s Jacob Black is present at the baby’s bloody birth — and almost immediately “imprints” on the newborn, essentially claiming her as his soul mate. “It caught me by surprise when I read the book,” Lautner admitted. “I think I originally heard it happened through somebody who had already read it — and I didn’t believe it. “Then I read the book, and I was like, ‘You’ve got to be kidding me,’ ” he said. “Now that I’ve thought about it more and more, I understand it more and more. But still, in the back of my head, I’m like, ‘That’s a little odd.’ ” Now, the biggest obstacle if there is a fourth “Twilight” film would seem to be figuring out a way Jacob could claim an infant child as his lover without seeming like some sort of borderline-pedophile weirdo. “It might be a little odd actually doing that,” Lautner admitted. With a grin, Taylor jokingly imagined his scene. ” ‘Hey, Bella, your daughter? She’s smokin’!’ ” he laughed. “I don’t know [how I'm going to do that].” But even though “New Moon” marks Taylor’s first performance as Jacob with the knowledge of how it all will eventually conclude, the actor insisted that he couldn’t let the Renesmee thing cloud his scenes romancing Bella. “I’ve tried to stay as focused as possible on the movie that we’re doing now,” he said. “My focus has just stopped with ‘Eclipse.’ ” SOURCE: MTV |

After news spread that Summit Entertainment was holding “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” test screenings over the weekend, testimonials began to appear online from fans who had the chance to see the flick. The only problem? There was no test screening, so the testimonials were anything but accurate.
