The Internet has been buzzing for the last day or so with rumors that the Twilight Saga star and Grand Rapids native Taylor Lautner is enrolling at Western Michigan University for the Fall 2010 semester. Rumors on Twitter.com and forums have all purported that people who claimed to know Lautner or friends-of-friends in the WMU theater department have said the actor is in the process of registering, or that he has already auditioned for the theater department. The official word from WMU, by way of Cheryl Roland at the University Relations office, is that he is not at this point enrolled. “I don’t think there is a solid basis in fact there,” Roland said. “Because he is college-aged, maybe people are thinking that since we have one of the best theater schools in Michigan, it would be a logical choice. I did check our student registration systems, and he is not registered.” However, with the whole summer in between now and the beginning of the fall semester, this in no way means that Lautner will not enroll at WMU, or another college. Similar rumors had earlier been circulated that the actor would attend Grand Valley State University. Until he registers, or word comes out from the WMU Theater Department saying he had auditioned, or from Lautner himself, this is to be considered 100 percent rumor. |

Today, we do not know which Twilight star is more powerful: Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen) or Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black). Robert and Taylor may be friends in real life, but like in reel life competing for Kristen (Bella), now they have to sort out things for real life as well. This is because their producer wants to put the two head-on-head for a publicity measurement. According to reports, a special Twilight edition of People magazine will hit counters later this month. It will give two options: Buy an edition with Robert Pattinson’s face on the front or that of Taylor Lautner’s.
Earlier, in an interview, Pattinson has told that his fanbase includes a lot of older women. “I’ve had women in their 40s come up to me and ask if I can sign their underwear. The moms are crazier than the daughters.” This new, one-on-one sampling test will now further reveal new facts about their fan’s database. Source: Entertainment & Showbiz |

Percy “Romeo” Miller has been quite the jack-of-all-trades in the last couple years, juggling music and acting careers with playing basketball and being a student at the University of Southern California. When MTV News caught up to the multi-hyphenate to find out what film is his pick for Best Movie at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards, he revealed a bit of a bias — because he’s in talks for a part in “Breaking Dawn.” “The one thing is, I might be in the last ‘Twilight,’ so I’m going to have to go with ['New Moon' to win over 'Avatar'],” he said, ready to give Team Edward and Team Jacob a fight. “That’s a little secret out there to all the ladies. Will y’all be Team Romeo?”
The former Nickelodeon star said he’s ready to give muscled-up werewolf Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) some competition. “I’ve been working on my physique, I’m getting ready,” he said proudly, lifting up his sleeve to show off a bicep. “Team Romeo is here, baby.” Source: MTV |

According to Entertainment & Showbiz Robert Pattinson thinks he could take on Taylor Lautner in a fight and win – but only in the movies! In the last year Rob has been reviewing videos of Taylor before he became the Jacob Black werewolf hunk who is his protagonist in the Twilight movies and fighting for Bella’s love. And Pattinson is learning that there’s nothing like a stunt double to get you out of a real life scrape. In the movies R-Patz may have the edge. Vampires are more immortal than werewolves. Traditionally anyway. There’s no telling yet how all the old myths ultimately stand up in the Twilight world. Mostly everything we’ve believed about these mystical characters has been revised and updated to great dramatic effect by Stephenie Meyer.

LONDON, May 25, 2010 /PRNewswire/ — The high school prom has been voted the most important event of the school year by 16-18 year olds in a survey released today by Cherry Vimto. The results reveal that the US import is now deemed more significant for school leavers than other milestone occasions such as exam results day. It also emerged that on average prom-goers spend GBP450 on their big occasion and three months planning it. The transformation of teenage boys into a generation of Mr Darcys is very becoming, with the average amount spent on a corsage or bouquet for their date being GBP42.
But not all teens go for the typical totty, with Dr Who star David Tennant scooping 25% of the female vote and a single ballot paper for recently appointed Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg! Emma Hunt, brand manager for Cherry Vimto, says: “When we commissioned the research we knew proms were becoming a big deal for teenagers, but for them to be named the single most important event of the school year shows prom fever has well and truly arrived in the UK.” To ensure that teenagers enjoy their final school years and experience a prom to remember, Cherry Vimto has launched http://www.cherryprom.co.uk with style tips, competitions, cocktails and more. At stake for “New Moon” are nominations the film received for Best Fantasy and Most Anticipated Movie of the Summer. Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, and Kristen Stewart are each contenders for Performance of the Year (which is awarded in two categories: male and female). Though winners are decided by public vote, and not limited to voters living in the U.K., if you haven’t voted by now, you’re too late–the voting window closed on April 30th. The awards themselves are relatively new, with the 2008 season having been its first. Despite its fan-driven nature and its recent arrival on the scene, it has cultivated impressive attendance by nominees and presenters, which have included stateside stars such as Dustin Hoffman, Meryl Streep, and Samuel L. Jackson, as well as British glitterati such as Dames Helen Mirren and Judi Dench, Roger Moore, and Rupert Everett.

Justin Bieber is not hiring Taylor Lautner’s personal trainer, contrary to a report printed in the last week. It was claimed by National Enquirer that the 16-year-old ‘Somebody To Love’ singer wanted to beef up, so was planning to work-out with the Twilight hunk’s trainer, Jordan Yuam. A source had told the publication at the time: “Justin’s positive he has the intensity and focus to get the same results as Taylor. “He’s already a megastar at 16 – now he wants the physique to go with it. He wants ripped abs, bulging biceps, and cut thighs.”
