It’s official. Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will be at the upcoming MTV Movie Awards in L.A. Not only will they be showing their faces, but…
After the first Twilight flick swept last year’s Movie Awards with wins for best movie, best female performance, breakthrough performance male, best kiss and best fight, New Moon is nominated in five award categories this year. No word yet if any of they’ll be walking the red carpet or sitting together in the audience. Hosted by funny man Aziz Ansari, MTV’s golden popcorn trophies will be handed out during a live telecast on June 6 from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, Calif. Previously announced presenters included Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Jonah Hill, Jessica Biel, Anna Kendrick, Olympian Shaun White and Sean “Diddy” Combs. Less than a week later, Pattinson, Stewart and Lautner will take a part in a panel discussion at a Twilight fan convention in Los Angeles on June 12. Organizers have already warned that they will not be available for autograph or photo ops because of “scheduling.” SOURCE: E! Online |

US Weekly’s “Sexy Stars of Twilight: New Moon” special issue was a huge hit with fans when it hit newsstands in October of last year. Dubbed by some as a “bookazine”, the custom edition was printed on heavier (read: collectible-grade) paper with a focus on telling the stories of the films while showcasing a superior collection of pictures of the stars of Twilight. In recent days, talk of the special issue has been revived—this comes in the wake of US Weekly’s announcement that it will publish yet another Twilight-focused special issue: “The Sexy Stars of Twilight: Eclipse”. According to BarnesandNoble.com (which has the issue available for pre-order), US Weekly editors announced that the issue will contain the following: 7 posters, 160 photos, and exclusive interviews with principal cast members Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner, as well as secondary cast such as Boo Boo Stewart and Nikki Reed. Taylor Lautner and Dakota Fanning are reported as being very flirty towards each other especially on the set of the ‘Twilight’ movies. Twist Magazine reports that not only do Dakota Fanning and Taylor Lautner love to flirt but that their flirting has moved into the public eye. Most recently the Twilight Saga stars were spotted getting flirty at Dakota and Kristen Stewart’s ‘The Runaways’ premiere. “Taylor was flirting with Dakota all night,” and insider told the mag. “He was heard telling Kristen he thought Dakota was cute.” While Twist reports that the flirting did happen they don’t seem to think the two super busy stars will enter into a relationship. Dakota Fanning, 16, and Taylor Lautner, 18, are both so busy with their ever growing careers that it would be hard for them to maintain a successful relationship together. “Valentine’s Day” director Garry Marshall says that Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner showed that they were willing to try anything while shooting the flick, and that eagerness may be what got the onetime couple a Best Kiss nomination at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards. “Taylor [Swift] was quite good in the movie and Taylor Lautner too,” he told MTV News about the kiss in the movie, which is out on DVD and Blu-Ray this Tuesday. “Taylor Swift is quite competitive. I said, ‘You know there’s a prize for best kiss? … So we might as well try for it.’ And Taylor Lautner kind of hid at the craft-service place. He didn’t want to get involved. Anyway, he went along with it. We did one in the movie, which was pretty good, but then we did a whole shot of a best kiss that was pretty good.” Considering the fact that their parts were added to “Valentine’s Day” at the last minute, the duo’s willingness to dive into their work was a big bonus, the director said. “When they got there, there was nothing really written,” Marshall explained. “They weren’t in the original script, so we did a whole thing with them and worked with them. They did a good job. They’re both brave, they’ll try anything. He did high hurtles [to play a track star], which is not easy, and he insisted on doing his own stunts. I said, ‘If you get hurt, somebody from “Twilight” is gonna call me up, but I’m a gambler. We’ll probably only do this once.’ And he did it good.
