We were all over the cast of Eclipse when they returned to Vancouver in May for last-minute reshoots — and now we know why they had to do them all! “When Bella [Kristen Stewart] and Jacob [Taylor Lautner] climb into the sleeping bag together, he didn’t put his arm around her,” Twilight author Stephenie Meyer told MTV News on June 24 during the premiere of Eclipse at LA’s Staples Center. She needed them to do it again, but closer! “So simple,” she assured fans. “Simply a blocking issue. … I wasn’t there that day to hold it.    As the highly-anticipated Twilight Saga: Eclipse prepares to descend on theaters June 30, stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner get together in L.A. for a frank discussion about the roles they play within the Twilight universe — both on screen and off. They also open up about their Oprah appearance, staying fit, and what it took to film a climactic scene in Eclipse, in which the three characters are forced to wait out a blizzard in incredibly close proximity ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: One scene fans have been dying to see takes place in the tent during the snowstorm. Jacob warms up Bella with his body because Edward is cold-blooded and can’t do it himself. How many takes did you go through to get that scene? Why? Taylor, you and Rob have some pretty serious confrontations in this movie. |

Photos may be posted a little late with the premiere. I have to work till 12:30AM (that’s just how my job goes) and I’m not sure if Shur can post the photos or not.  Did Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart confess their rumored romance backstage on “The Oprah Winfrey Show?” That’s what one online report suggested in the wake of “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” stars’ appearance (with co-star Taylor Lautner) on the show in May, but Kristen told Entertainment Weekly how things really went down. “She glided over to me – and she was strong, by the way, really firm hands – and she said, ‘How are you?’ I said, ‘Good.’ She said, ‘Good. Are you nervous?’ I said, ‘Yeah, I am, but I think I’m OK.’ She said, ‘Good. We’ll have fun,’” Kristen told the mag. “And then she just walked away. And that was the most I talked to her backstage.” However, Kristen also addressed something she did say – a recent comment in the media comparing paparazzi photographs of herself to rape, which she later apologized for. “I’m so sensitive about stuff like that. It is the one subject that means a lot to me. I made one movie directly concerning it and I made another one where my character has a horrible history of rape. I talked to a lot of people about it,” Kristen told EW. “I used the wrong word. I should have said ‘violated.’ But I’m young and emotional. It’s just the way it goes sometimes. I probably shouldn’t say this, but I just feel like people got so excited once they saw that it was me. It was like, ‘Sweet! Lets get her!’” Robert also defended Kristen, taking aim at the “little nerds… on their little blogs” who had attacked the comment. “None of those associations came out and gave a statement [criticizing Kristen] without being called upon by the media first – who were doing it specifically to get hits on their websites,” he noted to EW. “That whole system of Internet journalists, where no one is called to account, is almost entirely about hate. All these people get away with doing it because they have no responsibility to anyone. All they need is to get a salacious headline and people click on it, because it’s easy.” However, Rob added that doing “The Twilight Saga” gave the cast plenty of interview opportunities – and chances to defend each other. “That’s the only way,” he said of using interview time to dispel rumors. “All of us stick together as well. There are so many little nerds behind their computers, on their little blogs.” “You can say so much more than me. It’s insane,” Kristen said, chiming in. “That’s not true at all,” Rob responded. “When did I say anything [controversial?]” “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” is due in theaters June 30. |

Bella’s truck is almost like another character in the Twilight films. The 1963 Chevy has played a part in each of the released movies, and will of course make its way back to the screen in Eclipse. Now, fans have a chance to get their picture taken with the same pickup that Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner have all sat in.

In less than a year, filming of “The Twilight Saga” will be over and the project’s stars are already sad about the end. “It will be so weird, the last day of filming that last movie,” Taylor Lautner, who plays werewolf Jacob, told Entertainment Weekly of wrapping up the two films the cast are shooting for “Breaking Dawn.” “It will be sad, too,” star Kristen Stewart, who plays series heroine Bella Swan, added. “It’s been one of the most crazy, indulgent experiences as an actor, to be able to follow a character for this long.” SPOILER! Fans who’ve lapped up every word from Stephenie Meyers’ books know that as things get closer to the end, Bella is going to marry her sweetheart – choosing vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) over Jacob, and there will be a baby. “What is Renesmee going to look like?” Kristen told the mag of her thoughts regarding Bella’s baby with Edward. “Is it going to be this little teeth-baby running around? It’s going to be weird.” Little teeth-baby or something else, Kristen is looking forward to Bella’s upcoming story line. “She goes through a lot,” the actress told the mag. “In the fourth one, she is going to become a wife.
