Toronto, Canada, June 29, 2010 –(PR.com)– The Watty Awards, Wattpad’s annual writing contest, sees Twilight actors starring in original fiction. Since the launch of The Watty Awards three weeks ago during the MTV Movie Awards, thousands of authors have submitted their original stories into Wattpad’s annual writing contest. The majority of contributors are young women who have cast their characters with some of the biggest names in movies and television. Most popular are the stars of Twilight, who writers choose to play fictional characters ranging from the average high school student to the supernatural and highly imaginative.
The winner of last year’s contest, “Dinner With a Vampire. Did I Mention I’m Vegetarian?” by Abigail Gibbs, has over 6 million reads and has received 35,000 comments. Other Twilight stars that have been cast in Wattpad stories include Dakota Fanning, Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz. Source: Press Releases |
