All summer long “Twilight” fans’ hearts have been aflutter with Taylor Lautner being in town filming a new movie. Wherever he goes, fans follow hoping and praying jut to get a glimpse of him. On Thursday, filming for “Abduction” moved to the North Shore near PNC Park. “Yesterday, I was walking on my trail in the morning and on my way back, I actually saw there was a movie shooting going on across the street right near the 16th Street Bridge and I asked somebody what was going on and they said, ‘Taylor Lautner is shooting a movie,’” Asha Nair told KDKA-TV. Streets near the ballpark were blocked off, but the Riverfront Trail was open. Lautner made a few appearances, but the crew was quick to hide him from cameras, even though the crowds of teenage girls who swarmed other shoots to meet Lautner weren’t around. “I’m not the fan – my niece is so I was trying to get a picture,” Nair told KDKA-TV. Ever since the first “Twilight” film was released — kicking off the phenomenon that has included record-breaking box-office numbers, fainting fans, megawatt premieres, etc. — the suddenly superstar cast has been catapulted into a spotlight none of them saw coming. As such, the actors are very much in demand and currently working on a number of projects. When Nikki Reed stopped by MTV News recently to discuss her film “Last Day of Summer,” we asked her which of her co-stars’ upcoming films she’s most excited to see.
“I’m excited about Rob [Pattinson]‘s movie ‘Water for Elephants,’ ” she added. “I think he’s going to be phenomenal in that, and Kristen [Stewart] is doing an amazing film ['On the Road']. Elizabeth Reaser just did a movie called ‘Homework’ with Michael Angarano, who’s a really good friend of mine, and Emma Roberts that I’m excited about.” Reed and her co-stars have so many projects going that she was hard-pressed to remember everyone’s work schedule. “We all root for each other,” she said. Speaking of which, the multi-talented and multi-tasking actress, who recently directed Sage’s music video for “Edie Sedgwick,” lit up at our question about whether she would consider directing a music video for her co-star Jackson Rathbone’s band, 100 Monkeys. “Would I ever! Jackson and I are on the phone every other day, because we’re trying to find a movie to do together. I forgot to mention him — his band is skyrocketing. It’s amazing,” she gushed. “I would be honored. I don’t want to take the position: ‘Would I ever.’ If he would ever let me, yeah. I love them.” Source: MTV |

Is complaining the new trend? Seems Taylor Lautner thinks it is. Apparently Lautner has banned, well, himself from appearing on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show On-Air With Ryan Seacrest, Seacrest announced on the radio yesterday morning. Ummm, we’re pretty sure that, right there with Oprah, Seacrest is one you probably don’t want to piss off. What’s going on with our darling Twi-babe—he hanging around Nikki Reed lately, or something? Seacrest told the story yesterday that after asking Lautner to appear on his morning radio show based in L.A. (at the request of tons of emails from fans of the Twilight star, no less), Lautner’s people responded with something along the lines of, “He’s too busy to even think about that.” Seacrest stated he had been “banned” by Camp Lautner. And so Seacrest joke-vented, citing that he had featured Lautner on the program before the dude became a true superstar. He said he did the same thing for stars like Taylor Swift, the Jonas Brothers and even Justin Bieber (should we say Justin Bieber-Jolie-Pitt?), all of whom Seacrest says returned the favor down the line and remained loyal to the radio maven. But Lautner doesn’t appear to be too keen on repaying Ryan with loyalty and muffin baskets. Let us pose the question: Has Taylor Lautner always been this huffy and puffy? There’s nothing more unattractive than a dude whose feuds (like his new lawsuit) are equal in quantity to the number of shirtless pics he has. Surprise, surprise, we haven’t yet heard a statement from Lautner’s crew commenting on either the trailer trouble or this new little tiff. Tom Cruise’s cruising skills must have suffered a low nowadays. That is what one would have thought when he rammed a motorcycle into a wall while trying to show his skill with the mean machine before a bunch of teenagers. Reports are scarce on the matter and it is not clear if Tom has suffered any injuries, but from what Mirror UK reports (they were the first to report the incident), it doesn’t seem he is seriously injured. In fact, in the aftermath of the incident, he offered to pay the damages to the teen whose bike fell the casualty. He however declined it and just asked Tom to sign on the bike. Sensible move anyway. 10 years down the line, hand it over to Christie’s and see what it fetches. Meanwhile, Perez Hilton is out dishing that Cruise was present during a screen test arranged by Paramount to zero in on a bunch of youngsters for Mission: Impossible 4. Young actors Keven Zegers, Christopher Egan, and Anthony Mackie and a few others were reportedly present for the audition. It is still not clear however if the bike-crash happened at that very audition. And Hilton, for one, is saying that Cruise is heartbroken that Zac Efron and Taylor Lautner couldn’t be present there and Mr. Hilton was also hoping that Tom Cruise kept his hands to himself. We are not going to comment on that, but for the sake of the fact, it was Tom Cruise who taught Zac to ride a bike and per reports, Zac didn’t come to him, rather Cruise himself offered him to teach. Sorry Biebs, you’re officially out of the picture! Kim Kardashian has moved on to bigger and better things–literally. Kim may be dating football star Miles Austin, but a part of her will always be Team Jacob. “Taylor Lautner is cute,” Kim told Hollyscoop at the Los Angeles Confidential Magazine’s Fall Fashion Issue Celebration held at the London West Hollywood Hotel on Thursday. She admitted that Justin Bieber was a “little too young” for her, but it seems hottie Taylor Lautner may be just right. As for sister Kourtney Kardashian, who was also celebrating the recent LA Confidential magazine cover, she doesn’t “have time for a crush” but admitted that babies are still on her mind. “I’m not trying but I’m not not trying,” she told Hollyscoop. “We [Kourtney and Khloe] are on the same plan. It’s a race,” she jokingly added. Good news is Kourtney isn’t planning a move to NYC, but she wouldn’t reveal much about her current living situation. “You’re going to have to wait and watch the show to see what our living situation is,” she teased. Jill Etesse was hooked on the “Twilight” books the second she cracked the series opener. She ripped through the saga on paper and rented movie No. 1. Then the madness began. “I joined the lines of teens for ‘New Moon,’” said the 38-year-old mom of two. “My husband is deathly embarrassed. Half my friends think I’m crazy.” Etesse, from Leesburg, Va., won’t let her 8-year-old daughter anywhere near Team Edward OR Team Jacob, but did she take herself to “Eclipse” this summer? “Oh yeah.” Is there something, um, icky about moms lusting after the boys of “Twilight” or other morsels of ripe screen candy? Heck no, said 54-year-old Toni Downey of Limerick, Pa. We’re not dead yet! Downey’s more into Matt Bomer, 32, of TV’s “White Collar” at the moment, but “I’ve had impure thoughts about barely legal boys as well.” Strictly the celebrity look-don’t-touch variety, she notes.
Into the light they’ve come, publicly declaring their sometimes puzzled joy, juggling movie schedules with diaper changes, kid lunches and soccer practices. They’re definitely looking forward with younger fans to the last two “Twilight” movies starting next year, and they’re scooping up all sorts of reads intended for the young. “I have no idea why it’s so appealing to me,” Etesse said of her “Twilight” jones. “I’m married to a tall, dark and handsome French-Irish guy, but those abs, you know. I’d trade a pair of my Jimmy C’s for my husband to have those.” In June, 30-year-old mom Christina Fiedler was undaunted by a tent city of young people on her way in to a special screening of “Eclipse” at a Los Angeles theater. She’s not all that much older than 24-year-old Robert Pattinson and his mid-20s Cullen kin, played by Kellan Lutz and Jackson Rathbone, but her mom status makes her feel light years their senior, especially since they’re all supposed to be teens on screen. In a suit filed Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court, Lautner claims his dad, Dan Lautner, negotiated with the Irvine, Calif.-based McMahon’s RV dealership to deliver a $300,000 customized 2006 Affinity Country Coach RV by a June deadline so the star wouldn’t have to rough it on the set of the thriller “Abduction.” But the deadline allegedly passed, causing Lautner and his Shark Kid Entertainment to sue for breach of contract and fraud. He’s seeking unspecified damages. Considering that Lautner is scheduled to spend most of the winter in Louisiana filming the third and fourth installments of “Twilight,” Twi-hards will be hoping that this dispute gets resolved quickly. LOS ANGELES – Taylor Lautner is suing an RV dealership he claims didn’t deliver a customized coach in time for use on his current movie shoot. The star of the “Twilight” series sued the Irvine, Calif., dealership of McMahon’s RV in Los Angeles on Monday. The lawsuit claims McMahon’s missed a June deadline to deliver a $300,000 customized 2006 Affinity Country Coach RV. The lawsuit doesn’t specify what special features the 18-year-old wanted for the RV, which would serve as his dressing room. He is currently filming the action-thriller “Abduction” and is reprising his role as Jacob Black in the two-part “Twilight finale, “Breaking Dawn.” A phone message left at the McMahon’s dealership Monday was not immediately returned. This 24 year old has also been no less in returning the love by exclaiming that he would happily date a fan and his close buddies have also confessed that the guy loves to date different girls.
