Here’s Taylor Swift describing the writing process behind her highly anticipated third album, Speak Now: “In the past two years, I’ve experienced a lot of things that I’ve been dying to write about. A lot of things I wanted to say in the moment that I didn’t … Each song is a different confession to a person.”

2. “Sparks Fly”
A re-creation of the first night Swift met memorable 2009 fling Taylor Lautner. They stayed up all night staring at the stars and trading off favorite famous Taylors. Swift’s was Foo Fighter’s drummer Taylor Hawkins. Lautner’s was former Michigan Wolverine Maurice Taylor, which technically didn’t fit the format, although Swift let it slide.

6. “Mean”
Inspired by the first sign of trouble in Swift’s relationship with Lautner, which came roughly three weeks into the union, when the famous werewolf carelessly admitted he had never heard Swift’s 2006 song “Tim McGraw.” Seriously, bro? It was only her debut single!

8. “Never Grow Up”
The moment, a month and a half into the relationship, when Swift found out Lautner was only 17 while reading his Wikipedia page. Awkward.

13. “Last Kiss”
The very last time Lautner and Swift ever locked lips, as the burning embers of their fiery, three-month romance tragically faded. It was outside an Olive Garden, and he tasted like Toscana soup and Caesar salad.

I know it sucks with the lack of Taylor Lautner news because well, Taylor just is in hiding or filming Abduction and it’s highly secured. However, things should pick up soon with Breaking Dawn filming. We’ll have so many pictures from the filming – can’t wait! Then next year the release of Abduction…so news will pick up. Just keep visiting back though because we still are here and lurking for news, it’s just that there’s nothing to post. We haven’t ignored or forgotten about the site.

Ashley Greene did say on her twitter that she had her fitting, so I’m sure things are coming into place and Taylor will be seen!

It’s a big day for Twihards. First Maggie Grace signs on to play Irina. Now EW.com has learned that little 9-year old Mackenzie Foyis inches away from signing on to play Renesmee, Edward and Bella’s vampire/human love child that’s a central role in the final installment of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.

It’s not yet clear how the diminutive actress, who’s appeared in one episode each of television shows FlashForward and ‘Til Death, will portray the character who ages a full 17 years in only seven. Sources have suggested that director Bill Condon will employ similar digital effects to those used by David Fincher in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, where Foy’s face would be digitally transferred onto the face of a younger child. It’s also probable that the studio will hire a younger child in some capacity, too.

Despite the continued popularity and rush for film studios to make everything in three dimensions, “Breaking Dawn” — both Part 1 and Part 2 — will not be shot in 3-D.

Gossip Cop broke the news via a source at Summit Entertainment, the studio behind the mega-successful franchise. “Neither film is being shot in 3-D,” the source told the site, adding that any other buzz from the rumor mill was “fabricated.”

A rep from Summit confirmed the story to MTV News.

Although the two parts of “Dawn” will not be filmed in 3-D, this does not mean that post-production 3-D effects and/or conversion won’t be added. It is reportedly too early in production for the studio to make that call.

We already know that a few of the castmembers would be up for a few 3-D elements. Kristen Stewart told MTV News in June that Bella in 3-D would be “awesome.”

“I’m probably speaking out of line or whatever, but I think it would be awesome,” she said. “Nobody knows what it’s like to look through the eyes of a vampire. What if [Bella] opens her eyes to this extraordinary world? It could be cool.”

Taylor Lautner seemed a bit more cautious about such an ambitious approach.

“Usually, 3-D is best when it takes you into another world,” he explained. “I could see it going both ways. As long as we have the story line down and as long as we bring what was written on the pages in the book to life, then we’ll be fine no matter what we do.”

A producer of The Twilight Saga has revealed that the vampire trilogy was at one stage considered for the basis of an action movie.

Speaking to Hollywood Life, Mark Morgan revealed that after securing the rights to Stephenie Meyer’s books, which were adapted into movies starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, it was initially difficult to secure investment for the film.

Morgan said that Paramount had originally been interested in releasing the franchise. However, he explained: “It was a blessing that Summit [chose to do the move], because frankly, Paramount would have chosen a different director. Their rewrite wasn’t exactly like the book.

“I love Paramount, but I do not think they would have hired Catherine [Hardwicke], our first director. They would have gone for someone bigger. Boys. More action.

“I mean, one of their drafts literally had a Korean FBI agent who was hunting and tracking vampires across the coast. There was SWAT in the trees and literally it was like, ‘Red leader, read leader one?, and the vampires were picking them out of the woods. It would have been a different movie.”

Commenting on how the film would have been received had it departed from the original story of the relationship between teenager Bella Swann and vampire Edward Cullen, Morgan said: “[The fans] would have killed us. They would have stoned us.”

Antonique Smith has joined the cast of Lionsgate’s thriller “Abduction.”

Taylor Lautner stars as a young man who discovers his baby photo on a missing children’s website and sets out to uncover the truth about his life.

Smith will play a CIA agent who’s partnered with Alfred Molina. Together, the duo seek to protect Lautner as he gets closer to the truth.

Smith is best known for playing singer Faith Evans in last year’s rapper drama “Notorious.” She landed on Hollywood’s radar on the strength of her performance as Mimi Marquez in a Broadway production of “Rent.”

Smith next stars alongside Gabourey Sidibe, Zoe Kravitz and Tim Blake Nelson in Victoria Mahoney’s indie film “Yelling to the Sky,” which will be released sometime next year.

John Singleton directs “Abduction,” which also stars Sigourney Weaver, Maria Bello and Jason Isaacs.

Smith is represented by Innovative Artists and Untitled Entertainment.

Is this good news or bad news, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn fans?
Despite rumours, both parts of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn will not be filmed in 3-D.
According to a Summit Entertainment source: “Neither film is being show in 3-D.”

But before you 3-D fanatics get upset, just because it’s not being filmed in 3-D doesn’t mean they couldn’t convert to 3-D later!

So the studio still has time to debate whether or not they want to add some post-production 3-D effects.

MTV News previously spoke to Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner on whether they’d like to see Breaking Dawn in 3-D and they had mixed reactions.

Kristen said: “I’m probably speaking out of line or whatever, but I think it would be awesome.

“Nobody knows what it’s like to look through the eyes of a vampire. What if [Bella] opens her eyes to this extraordinary world? It could be cool.”

But Taylor wasn’t so sure 3-D would be best for Twilight.

He explained: “Usually, 3-D is best when it takes you into another world.

“I could see it going both ways. As long as we have the storyline down and as long as we bring what was written on the pages in the book to life, then we’ll be fine no matter what we do.”

Whether 3-D or not 3-D, we know we’re going to love Breaking Dawn either way. Especially after the really long wait!

James Franco recently spoke to MTV, and while discussing “The Tent Scene” in Eclipse, the actor drew a comparison between Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner’s characters in that sequence with the Oscar-winning, gay-themed cowboy film, Brokeback Mountain.

When “Taylor and Rob are in the tent, it’s almost like a Brokeback Mountain scene,” said Franco, who further described it as a “romantic moment.”

Despite losing 848 theaters — following a weekend-long increase in venues (officially) to celebrate Bella Swan’s birthday — David Slade’s The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, starring Robert Pattinson (as the vampire Edward Cullen), Kristen Stewart (as the human Bella), and Taylor Lautner (as the werewolf Jacob Black), has finally crossed the $300m milestone after 12 weekends (82 days) out.

According to studio estimates found at Box Office Mojo, Summit Entertainment’s Eclipse (cost $68m) took in $205k at 339 sites, reaching a grand total of $300.099m. Thanks to higher ticket prices and a highly profitable IMAX run in July, Eclipse has become the first Twilight Saga movie to pass the $300m milestone.

On Box Office Mojo’s chart (not adjusted for inflation, 3D/IMAX surcharges) showing the fastest movies to reach $300m domestically, Eclipse is at the no. 27 slot, sandwiched between Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince ($300.01m after 77 days in 2009) and Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl ($300.08m after 101 days in 2003).

Yet, to date Chris Weitz’s 2009 fall release The Twilight Saga: New Moon (total US/Canada gross: $296.62m) in all probability has sold more tickets domestically than Eclipse.

In order for Eclipse to beat New Moon in that regard, it’ll have to gross another $2m-$3m. That’s not an impossible task.
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince ended its run with $301.95m, while Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl took in $305.41m.

Note: The fastest movie to pass the $300m milestone domestically was Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight in 2008: 10 days. The slowest was Robert Zemeckis’ Forrest Gump in 1994, when movie ticket prices were considerably lower: 193 days.
Addendum: Three other 2010 releases have passed the $300m mark to date. They are Toy Story 3 ($410.6m), Alice in Wonderland ($334.19m), and Iron Man 2 ($312.12m).

The upcoming film by MTV known as the Teen Wolf seems to be threat Taylor Lautner’s character in the Twilight series as a wolf. The upcoming movie generated its concept from a movie first made in the 1980s featuring Michael J. Fox.

Jeff Davis who wrote Teen Wolf series and serves as one of its executive producers stated that the movie will be quite scary but attractive and enjoyable especially for young people.

The director of the movie, Russell Mulcahy stated that they wanted the wolf characters in the movie to be sexy and hot instead of being scary.

Davis also stated that their werewolf characters will be much more attractive than those of the Twilight series, which is mainly played by Taylor Lautner.

There won’t be any vampires in the series though so Robert Pattinson has no competition to try to beat.

What are you working on next?

I start shooting my film “Laurence Anyways” next February in Canada… I’m also still dubbing the French voice of Ron Weasley, Rupert Grint’s character, in the Harry Potter movies and Taylor Lautner in the “Twilight” movies. I love dubbing, because it’s interpretation work. It’s a job of humility and loyalty to the original work, though each job also has its ties to imitation, which can be very funny.

Have you ever met Taylor Lautner?
No, but I have met Robert Pattinson. I highly doubt he would remember though.
