It seems that Booboo Stewart (“Seth Clearwater” in the Twilight series films) has been enjoying production for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn so far. According to the Belfast Telegraph, Stewart is actually going so far as to say that Breaking Dawn may be the best Twilight film yet. “[Filming] has been going really great . . . You guys are really going to like it, I definitely think so, it’s the best one so far, I have to say.” Of course, Booboo Stewart may be a little pre-biased toward Breaking Dawn, since it’s the first story in which his character, “Seth,” gets some real face-time (in Eclipse, he only had one speaking line, whereas in Breaking Dawn, the character is included in a lot of the interior scenes in human form). Note that yesterday, Stewart participated in the Hollywood Christmas Parade with sister Fivel Stewart. SOURCE: Twilight Examiner |

Fans of Twilight and Gossip Girl will be gleaming with delight at the prospect of Chace Crawford and Taylor Lautner appearing in the same film together after rumours circulated that the pair are set to sign up to star in Reichen Lehmkuhl’s 2006 memoir Here’s What We’ll Say: Growing Up, Coming Out. The film will focus on Lehmkuhl’s time in the US Air Force where his involvement with the Academy under the name ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’, shows his struggles where he found a secret group of gay cadets who would meet and agree on what they would say should someone be outed. Producer Lalo Vasquez said that Crawford and Lautner were top of the list of young actors to star in the project in which no offers have been as of yet while the financial group and director is still yet to be decided. Vasquez said: “Reichen’s story is definitely the through line of the movie. We just wanted to open it up so it speaks to everyone and not just someone interested in the book. We believe that it has a huge canvas.” It’s a project that means so much for Vasquez and his colleagues, who auctioned the book with their own money to prove to the movie business they wanted their first feature as producers to mean something more than just make-believe. “We’re starting from the ground up, and it’s a fight, it’s a topic that some people are afraid to touch, because it means they’re choosing a side.” Lehmkuhl is a producer working on the film and works closely with the writer of his story. However the involvement of Crawford AND Lautner could be crucial in the film getting noticed especially by the supportive female audiences who have obsessed over the pair for the last couple of years. Taylor Swift explains ‘December,’ about ‘Twilight’s’ Taylor Lautner? (video) — In her special to air Thursday on NBC, singer/songwriter Taylor Swift explains her lyrics to the song “Back to December” that appears on her latest album, Speak Now. The song is “an apology in the form of a song,” she says. “You know, in life, you learn lessons. And sometimes you learn them the hard way. Sometimes you learn them too late.” “The song ‘Back to December’ is about a lesson I learned too late. And I think, when you do that, and you finally realize that you were wrong, you need to say you’re sorry. And this was the best way that I knew how.” She did not specificially say the song is about her former relatioship with actor Taylor Lautner of the Twilight films, but according to People, she did say last month that “The person I wrote this song for deserves this. This is about a person who was incredible to me – just perfect to me in a relationship – and I was really careless with him.” Her comments plus known events surrounding the times she spent with Taylor Lautner lead many observers to guess that the person she is apologizing to in the song is the actor. The special, Taylor Swift: Speak Now, will air on NBC Thanksgiving night at 8 p.m. ET. Source: Examiner |

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner still retain their throne as the most popular trio of celebrities to pull in box office numbers over Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson. After this weekends release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows the box office numbers for the midnight show, Twilight Eclipse retains first place, Twilight: New Moon second place and the new Harry Potter film coming in third. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows raked in 24 million, Twilight: New Moon 26.3 million and Twilight Eclipse 30 million for their midnight showings. The demographics for these two movies do overlap, however for the midnight showings statistics one needs to remember that many of the huge Harry Potter fans don’t have their own means of transportation and would have had to rely on Mom and Dad to drive them to the show so the weekend statistic probably have a little more meaning. Box Office Mojo shows Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows earning a spot in the Top 10 Opening weekends landing at #6.
It’s interesting to note how many of these top 10 are family friendly films versus rated R or NC-17. For November openings, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 was beat out again by the vampire and werewolf groupies with Twilight Saga: The New Moon taking #1. However Harry Potter does dominate the November opening statistics taking the next four top spots and beating out the original “Twilight” movie that came in at #7.
