Thanks to Jeanne for typing up the quote. This is from the epilogue of Eclipse:

“Now I could hear the faint rustle of the matted leaves beneath my toenails, the whisper of an owl’s wings above me, the ocean — far, far in the west — moaning against the beach. Hear this, and nothing more. Feel nothing but speed, nothing but the pull of muscle, sinew, and bone, working together in harmony as the miles disappeared behind me. If the silence in my head lasted, I would never go back. I wouldn’t be the first one to choose this form over the other. Maybe, if I ran far enough away, I would never have to hear again.
I pushed my legs faster, letting Jacob Black disappear behind me.”

Robert Pattinson has teased that Taylor Lautner “doesn’t have to do a thing” in the upcoming Twilight finale Breaking Dawn.

The 24-year-old, who plays vampire Edward Cullen in the supernatural series, jested that the “real bond” between the cast is ruined by the few on-set sacrifices Lautner makes for his character Jacob Black.

He told Entertainment Weekly: “Having to spend so much time with people… it’s just nice when you like them. There is a real bond. I think also there’s something humbling about wearing the make-up and contacts.

“Except Taylor – he doesn’t have to do a thing. He’s managed [to do] no work on this last one. He’s always a wolf!”

However, Pattinson did accept that Lautner would face pressure when tackling the saga’s controversial plot twist, where Jacob “imprints” on Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward’s newborn child Renesmee.

Pattinson joked: “He has to fall in love with a baby. Oh, God, I can’t wait to see how that goes.”

Patiinson previously compared the end of the Breaking Dawn shoot to a “break-up”.

The first official Breaking Dawn picture featuring Lautner, which depicts Jacob’s rush to the wedding of Bella and Edward, was released on Friday.

Fans have waited years to see Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattinson) tie the knot, and the wedding scene, scheduled for the end of production on The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, proved to be equally climactic for those involved. “It was one of the coolest things that I’ve done,” says Stewart. “There was a certain point when I walked on set, and I saw everyone from the entire cast sitting there in the pews, about to do their bit. And it was just so perfect for me in that moment. It was so emotional in such a real way. I literally felt like thanking them for coming.”

But filming wasn’t always quite so idyllic. As the stars and director tell EW, Breaking Dawn Part 1 and 2 (in theaters November 18 and November 2012) involved a grueling, globe-trotting shoot, and scenes far darker, bloodier, and more polarizing than any in the franchise so far. If audiences haven’t matured with the Twilight books, they’re about to grow up fast. “We shot everything — whether it’s the lovemaking or the childbirth — as potent and powerful as it can be,” says director Bill Condon, who knew he was working within the constraints of a PG-13 rating. “It will be interesting to see whether there will be people who think it too disturbing for this universe.” For her part, Stewart wishes the movie could have been even truer to the graphic nature of the book — not so much the honeymoon sequence (“It feels like a real love scene, not necessarily vampire-y, which is good”), but the brutal birth of the baby, Renesmee. “It’s funny because when [the PG-13 issue] comes up, everybody thinks it’s all about the sex,” she says. “The birth is really effective, and I’ve heard it really hits you in the face. But what it could have been? It could have been shocking and grotesque, because that’s how it was written in the book.” She sighs: “I would have loved to have been puking up blood.”

Taylor Lautner, who plays Jacob, says that even being a member of the wolf pack didn’t have its privileges. “Everybody is always complaining to me that I don’t have to wear the contacts, I don’t have to wear the white makeup or wear wigs and all that stuff. And I’m like, ‘I’m the one in the freezing rain and cold not wearing a shirt! I paid my dues in New Moon and Eclipse.’” And as for his plot arc in Part 2, which will involve falling for — or imprinting on — Renesmee? “There were many times I walked up to Stephenie [Meyer] and asked her, ‘What exactly is imprinting?’” says Lautner. “It’s still a very confusing thing for me, so don’t ask.”

In ‘Breaking Dawn,’ fans will get the chance to see Kristen Stewart take on Taylor Lautner in a fight scene, something that was apparently a little funny to see filmed.

Peter Facinelli revealed that he enjoyed seeing the scene happen, states MTV. “[It was] very funny for Kristen. (Bella)… But you have to kick his butt a little bit,” Facinelli said, hinting at the storyline with Jacob, Bella and Edward.

But luckily, even though Stewart is quite a bit smaller than Lautner, the scene will probably be pulled off quite well.

Taylor Lautner has revealed that he finds the idea of a Twilight spinoff to be intriguing.

Author Stephenie Meyer recently stated that she would consider writing a further story in the supernatural series about Jacob Black and Renesmee Cullen. Lautner spoke to MTV News about the possibility of reprising the role of Jacob in a future film adaptation.

“Breaking news to me here, live, on MTV, Josh Horowitz! What’s going on?” Lautner answered when asked about the potential movie.

However, the 19-year-old went on to state that he is not opposed to the idea of continuing the Twilight series.

“That would be interesting. Stephenie comes up with the craziest things. I’m sure she could go on. That’s a crazy thought,” he added.

Lautner recently revealed that he will be emotional at the end of the Twilight films, stating that he will probably cry.

The actor, who has previously said that he was unprepared for his Twilight fame, has revealed that he has accepted losing his privacy in order to be a movie star.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 opens in US and UK cinemas on November 18.
