Thanks to “The Twilight Saga,” Taylor Lautner has a bit of a reputation for shirtlessness. At tonight’s MTV Movie Awards, “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” is up for eight tubs of Golden Popcorn, including Lautner’s nods for Best Male Performance and Best Kiss with Kristen Stewart.
Movie Awards supervising producer Jane Mun told MTV News that Lautner will certainly have people talking once the show wraps Sunday night thanks to a few surprises in store for the very toned actor — but will he lose his shirt?
“Um, I don’t know,” Mun teased. “I can’t spill the beans. You guys will have to see Taylor in a whole different light. He’s amazing.”
Lautner, along with Stewart and Robert Pattinson, will be on hand at the big show to present an exclusive trailer from “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.” Once the trailer premieres at the Movie Awards, airing 9 p.m. ET/PT tonight on MTV, record your video reaction and upload it to Your.MTV.com. We want to see just how excited you are for the fourth “Twilight” film’s arrival November 18. The best, wildest, most enthusiastic videos will even make it on TV on Monday’s “The Seven”!

I’m not sure exactly why they positioned their camera on this particular spot, but above is the MTV Movie Awards’ Red Carpet. It allows you to see lots of people, listen to gibberish, and get a glimpse at how red the red carpet is.
Ah, there’s some screaming now. It could be Robert Pattinson or Kristen Stewart or Reese Witherspoon or perhaps someone who looks like Robert Pattinson or Kristen Stewart or Reese Witherspoon. Who can tell?
But who cares about movie stars when you can get to look at so many pretty palm trees all in a row?
The 2011 MTV Movie Awards will be broadcast live on the East Coast beginning at 9 p.m. ET. Among the nominees are The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, Inception, Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s fight with an anonymous Hallway Attacker, several of the 3D piranas, and assorted liplocks, including those between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman, and Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart.
The screaming just got way out of control. I think the 3D piranas have arrived.
After months of anticipation, the official Breaking Dawn trailer hit the Internet on Sunday afternoon.
In the clip for the fourth installment in Summit’s Twilight Saga franchise, Breaking Dawn — Part 1, fans are treated to a glimpse at the wedding invitations for Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattinson) as well as a tiny peek at Bella’s wedding dress and veil and Jacob’s (Taylor Lautner) reaction to the news.
The trailer also hints about Bella’s pregnancy (watch to see what her reaction is).
It also alludes to the events that set up the final showdown between the Cullen clan and the Volturi in the final installment in the film franchise, Breaking Dawn — Part 2.
While “stolen” trailers have leaked online in the past few months, this is the first official trailer for the movie, which opens Nov. 18. The clip will have its on-air during Sunday’s MTV Movie Awards.

Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner have a history with the MTV Movie Awards and they’ll be returning to the stage on June 5 to present viewers a first look at their new film, “The Twilight Saga: Breakign Dawn, Part 1.”
The trio — who play Bella, Edward and Jacob, respectively, in the series — will show off the first look at the footage of the second to last ever “Twilight Saga” film.
Kristen and Rob won Best Kiss at the ceremony in 2009 for their work in the first film in the series, “Twilight.”
Kristen, Rob and Taylor are just a few of the stars set to take the stage at the awards show, hosted by “Saturday Night Live” star Jason Sudeikis.
Among the previously announced presenters are Chelsea Handler, Mila Kuni, Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Steve Carell, Emma Stone, Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Josh Duhamel, Patrick Dempsey, Cameron Diaz, Jason Segel, Jesse Eisenberg, Aziz Ansari, Danny McBride, Nicki Minaj, Selena Gomez, Leighton Meester and Katie Cassidy.
The MTV Movie Awards will air on Sunday, June 5 at 9 PM ET/ 8 PM CT.
The “Twilight” actor had been represented by Robin Baum of Slate PR for just three months.
Just as Taylor Lautner is about to step into a new role as action star/co-producer (Abduction, due in September) comes word that he won’t be depending on Robin Baum of Slate PR to help accelerate his rising star.
Baum, who also reps Johnny Depp and Daniel Craig, resigned from Lautner’s account after just three months.
Word is, his father, Daniel Lautner, isn’t the easiest guy to work with. Taylor’s management did not get back to us by press time, and Baum would not comment.
