TWILIGHT hunk Taylor Lautner gave Australian women the green light yesterday as he got up close and personal with 7PM Project host Carrie Bickmore.
Before hitting the red carpet at Chapel St’s Jam Factory, Lautner visited the Channel 10 studios, where he admitting he was single and looking for love Down Under.
Lautner, best known as topless werewolf Jacob in The Twilight Saga, sparked a frenzy from the studio of Twi-hards. Bickmore admitted colleagues Dave Hughes and Charlie Pickering had been slightly starstruck by the actor and his impressive six-pack. And she, too, caught a bit of Taylor fever.
“I’m actually not a Twilight fan, but I feel like I should be. He was gorgeous,” Bickmore said.

We don’t know that it’s true. And if he’s single, I wish him only happinness in the future. Maybe he dated Lily, but she just wasn’t the right girl for him. He’ll find her in the future. They can still promote the movie together. And they appear to have hot chemistry in the movie. so. <3

Lily did a lot of traveling for just a publicity stunt with no pics of her. Several flights to LA and Vancouver (twitter pics from fans say she was there) BD wrap party, and family wedding in MI. That’s a poor excuse for a showmance.

Remember when he dated Swift and it was out in the open? But he NEVER said… “yes, we’re seeing each other.” It was more like… “Where’d you get that?” after Kimmel goes… “Sooo I hear you’re dating Taylor Swift.” Then he goes… “Well, you’ve seen everything I’ve experienced!” :p
Again, he was apparently tongue-tied when he was asked the question about his lovelife. Tongue-tied meaning he was unable to freely answer. Again, this could be because he doesn’t want to disappoint his fans by saying, “Yes, I’m seeing someone at the moment.” OR he really wants to keep it to himself. I could imagine him saying… “Ya, you could say that.” Because he technically is.. :p
Sadly, I believe one of the reasons why Taysquared was more out in the open was because the publicity garnered more fans. Swift’s HUGE worldwide (I may not like her, but I won’t deny that)… and being linked to the most popular country pop singer of this decade will boost likeability among all age brackets (mostly tweens/teens though). If he dated Selena and Lily out in the open, he may lose the interest of many of his tween/teen fans (since a lot of them are also probably Swifters).
OR he really is single right now. And like you said @olivia, they might’ve dated but it didn’t work out (either she wasn’t the right one or too busy.. or both). Lily’s filming SW right now and it seems he’s been too busy to go to her. She’s been too busy filming, and Taylor’s schedule’s probably full too… soooo it’s possible they’re on a break or they completely decided to break it off. sorry, went off again. :p!

It’s possible that it’s a publicity stunt, but we have no basis to confirm that. However, even though we may wish to deny that Taylor would get involved in such a stunt, it is a common thing in Hollywood. Even big stars of today and before went through those things. I don’t think I need to name names. Everyone working in this industry knows that PR relationships are a huge thing and they do sell, especially if someone has something to promote like a movie. I’m not saying that their relationship was a PR stunt, but it is a possibility that it was. The whole traveling thing and attending events with each other are all part of that. If you want everyone to know you’re dating, you need to drop hints and the occasional pap photo. It doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to be seen with him/her every time there’s an event or paparazzi is nearby. People just have to believe that you’re still an item just so you’re talked about. Any press is good press in this industry.

If I’d be a showmance they would still keep it up as long as the Abduction promo goes, I mean that would be the whole point of a showmance.
No I think they did/do have a real relationship. The question is if they still are a couple. Busy schedules on both sides can destroy a lot. I do hope she will show for at least one or two premieres though…

I like Sara but I think she needs stop trying to get his attention it sure turning fans off. Just let it come naturally and let nature takes its coarse.I just has this feeling that when he comes back to L.A her and Blondie will try to do something just to get him notice.

Over at Hollywoodlife.com, the story about Taylorsquared reunion has been getting most viewed & most commented. Lots of speculation about all 3 girls.
For Lily, I believe it was not necessarily a publicity stunt for Abduction. But, it could be that she was using him to get noticed. It seemed that she only had Priest in the can when she started working with Taylor. After her connection with him, she became noticed by many and started getting offered many roles. She became the “it” girl. In the beginning, she was just Taylor’s rumored girlfriend, now she’s Snow White and so many more to come. She might have also liked him in the process because who wouldnt, he’s really cute, but mainly she had a mission which had been accomplished. So, off they break.
But, on the other hand, if my speculation is all wrong, which I hope, they may still be together, but both are busy so less time together.

@tayfan4ever… i can’t deny, i only liked the second to last part of your speculation :p like you, i would rather not believe lily would break it off like that. but honestly… if they are still together, they could be on a break. she’s been filming since july? basically since after the mtv movie awards. and i haven’t seen ANY pics from the SW set. that project is sure on lockdown! and i suppose i can see why. i haven’t seen much from kstew’s SW either. just the promo pics. seems these two projects are determined to stay secret from one another and the rest of the world til they start actually promoting the movies. but because lily has been on lockdown since then… and taylor’s been so incredibly busy himself… i doubt they’ve had time to really spend together.
lily wasn’t as busy before when she was visiting taylor so she was free enough to visit him and be on set during abduction even when she WASN’T filming. otherwise… if he’s really single now, PLEASE stay that way til you find someone worth it. no rebounds – ESPECIALLY with Blondie. i honestly don’t want another B2D. it was a surefire hit, but taylor doesn’t need that public humiliation again. ugh. mea culpa somewhere else.

@accv, I try to believe that Taylor will not go back to the girl who broke his heart and told the whole world about it in her song. I think he just remain nice to his exes because he’s a great guy and was brought up well. The Star Mag article could be semi fabricated to stir up speculation and therefore sell.
As for Lily, my reliable source told me a while back that she’s controlling and it was effecting his life style. So that’s why I believe they were dating, but possibly with a purpose on her part. Like I said I hope not, I hope she turns out to be a better girl who truly loves him.

I didn’t buy Tay-ly at first, because taylor looked too relaxed in those pics and the news came out exactly the day swift’s BTD was performed publicly. Side, I thought Lily maybe too old and too…you know,not as girlish as swifty and selena, unlike taylor’s type. But after her frequent visiting and appearance at some important occasions(like KS’s birthday and the goodbye party of the twi-s) and the fan twitters, I really wish they were together. But now…Guess I am the one who is going to cry for a heart break!
Maybe they did dated for a while, and just… as some stupid web story said, they were cooling down (things began to fall apart after that Emma Waston night?). But I truly believe they remained good friends.
Did anyone noticed that during taylena&taysquare, taylor looked really neat and stunning. I am not saying he wasn’t during Tayly, but obviously he’s more messy than any other time. Dose this make any sense?

@rain – dear, take a deep breath. you’ll be fine ;) and who said lily isn’t girly? besides, she doesn’t have to be THAT girly to look beautiful. :p and taylor’s type? i do believe i remember reading something about hollister and abercrombie clothing.. the uh… preppy? he leans toward those types, but for the most part… i don’t think he has a real type, type.
oh and taylor’s appearance when he was hangin’ with lily doesn’t mean anything bad. he doesn’t have to dress up, dress up to go and hang out with someone. friends shouldn’t care about what you wear… as long as you don’t look ridiculous and you smell tolerable. :p
otherwise… tayly or no tayly, he’s 19 and single. i wish i could just hunt him down and lay out my feelings – not as a “fan,” but a friend who wants nothing but the best for him (ok fine, more than that :p). that way, he knows personally what his options are. LOL!

hahahaha! how about we wait til that video comes out? but i’m gonna go with savvy on this – listen to what he says. as a journalist, articles can take the interviewee’s words and put them into a different context to make it more interesting – to sell. to garner more readers. not saying i would, but unless he’s quoted word for word… take it as a paraphase that could or could not be closer to what he really said. either way, they’re good friends. we shouldn’t be freaking out about this. i know i shouldn’t because it’s irrational… if they aren’t together anymore, i can’t deny i won’t be disappointed, but it’s out of our control. it’s taylor’s life and lily’s life. unless she pulled a swift or i hear anything about her being absolutely rotten, she’s still cool in my book. as for sara… the person said it had nothing to do with taylor (her australia tweet). ;) nowwww CHIN UP and let’s hope abduction hits the ball out of the park! considering his teen/tween fanbase (considerably larger than rob’s in this area), i hope it does better than RM. that’ll show those hardcore sparklepants-ers!

Well, there are a few ways to interpret his answer.
1: He is actually single but is doing what he is supposed to do and keep it vague. Stars HAVE to do that so that their teen and tween fans don’t get too disappointed and can still fantazise.
2: He is actually seeing someone (which I personally believe)and is creating buzz. He didn’t admit nor deny the fact so it creates buzz and rumours and speculation which in turn gives him more mentions in the media which in turn gives Abduction more mentions. In short it gets people talking.
3: His personal life is a little complicated at the moment and again, is keeping it vague. Lily is NOT there. (Nor are any other castmates) Now they are either seeing each other which is why they are promoting this separately so that there are no awkward questions OR there was something going on which has since gone belly up and them promoting separately is a way of keeping things civil.
We are early into promotion so this is ALL just speculation! :) I still think he is seeing his ex. What do you guys think? @accv, @Marianne @everyone LOL! :P

Shazam…I agree with #2 but I don’t think it is to create buzz. The Twi cast doesn’t need buzz. I think it is #1 (why do I feel like I am talking about bodily functions LOL) Since the posters just have Taylor I think the intention all along was that he would be doing all the promos alone. There is no way that Tay is going back to Swift. That ship has sailed. I think we can see how the gossip sites go nuts with info and that is the reason I think Tay and Lily have been trying to keep their relationship quiet. She is filming and he is doing promos. And as to Lily’s career being helped by associating herself with TL, she had to audition for SW, had already filmed Priest and was getting noticed by insiders and already had the role in MI. I like Lily’s down to earth style. She was at the BD wrap party in jeans. Swiftie would have been in a dress and false eyelashes!

Savvy said b4 – listen to what he says – he will confirm it, he will deny it, or he will be evasive & leave it up to you to come up with whatever you want (and since everyones talking about it and expressing who they hope he’s with it worked). He’s probably dating the babe from the local In n Out Burger joint.
What I’ve picked up – he is absolutely adorable, good to his fans, and probably dresses himself – he’s back to flashing his tighty whiteys (everytime he raises his arms, or stoops down) undies up to the waist, jeans around those hips
Those hips look smaller than my waist…that babe from the In n Out Burger Joint needs to feed him. If it weren’t that he wears Vneck shirts & I can see some muscle, I’d think he was anorexic….but without goofy camera angles that magnifies his size – you see him as he really is – (and someone said he’s dropped about 40+#’s) he’s about 5’8″ 140#, very very good looking (even with all the make-up). Glad it’s make-up, I was little nervous they were baking him in a tanning bed every night – nope – it’s make-up. His natural skin tone is a very subtle tan.
He went from tv interviews, to red carpet photoshoot, to on stage interview taping he had to be photo ready. Compare the airport pics with the red carpet shots – exchanged info with a # of Aussie gals who met him or got up close & everyone said the same thing – they think he’s way too skinny, he is even better looking RL, he is very patient & sweet especially with his younger fans (probably means he’s a great big brother)

@jmt On a positive note-he looks truly happy in front of the crowds of fans. I can’t evaluate whether he’s really too thin or not. He’s like 4 yrs older than when he was in Twilight, put on I think they said 45-50# for NM; and someone his age doing all that action movie, he must burn calories like crazy. His build is small to medium, his height close to average so he actually may be exactly spot on with his weight.
I also noticed that his skin tone would go from bronze to orange to anything in between. when you saw real pics of him as a kid – in school, out & about it was the same; and kids in CA always are outside, so I would say besides his natural tanness he took on a deeper tan from being out in that California sun. doesn’t have time for it anymore.
I’m tired of hearing TL get hammered by all these gossip jerks, and it seems like they bring out the very worst of a lot of blankety-blanks. Like “I don’t know who TL is” and then they go on & rip him to shreds. And the lurkers, it’s only going to get worse…they’ve hammered KS, AG, and TL as if their success would be some sort of terrible reflection on their one & only…why don’t they just cheer him on and leave everybody else alone instead of playing stalker! TL talked about the internet death threats, so he knows about a lot of this crap, and it has to wear you down sometime. I look at him now & think how really young he is; and he seems a lot more vulnerable .. he’s tough.. but he’s attacked constantly on what he does, what he doesn’t do, his family is attacked..and we wonder why he doesn’t want to talk about anything personal…why should he, it would be just another target. They burned him over the RV/coach to be used for dressing room…now I see will smith and others who have 2 story ones that are as long as city block & cost million upon millons…not a peep from the sludge sites though. I wish BD would just vanish – the slugs are going to b ripping on him constantly – while he’s out there shilling for that stupid movie (yeah he’ll get his share of bucks) but until he gets out from under they’re going to use it against him & try to break him. Any young person who grabs the publics eye is fair game….don’t think they wouldn’t turn on Bieber or Gomez, Swift (the sharks are just looking for a little blood & when the find it they’ll turn on them too)

@Xtincta – I’ve sometimes thought he might be gay. And contrary to what people think here, that’s not an insult. I’d actually feel sorry for him if he were and announced it because how many of his so-called fans would still accept him? I mean just suggest it here and look what happens. I remember when I was a teenager (way back when, LOL!) and thinking Ricky Martin was gay. Same thing happened, his fans didn’t want to even think such a thing was possible and forced him to hide a part of him away. I’m not saying Taytay is, I’ve just thought he might be in seeing and reading his interviews and just hope no matter what might happen in his love life his so-called fans will still be there.

@ everybody OMG you solved it. I only saw the short version of the interview & couldn’t figure out if you were all nutty or I missed some coded message. Listening to everybody I had Ray Orbison’s Mr Lonely running through my head & figured I’d have to go adopt him a cat to keep him company on those oh so lonely nights & throw in a dog for good measure to keep his feet warm. But he isn’t single so now I can relax (I didn’t have a shot at jumping his bones anyway – does that sound bad??? how about I didn’t have a chance of holding his hand).

Funny, it seemed like Swiftie did more for Taylor than Lily at promoting his movie Abduction whereas Lily is no where to be found.
I’ve been reading comments on this board and know that most of you here does not like Swiftie, but let’s face it, no one know who Lily Collins is except that she’s Phil Collins daughter and maybe Taylor’s girl friend. And you think that’s going to be popular with all his fans? Swiftie & Taylor on the other hand will create ALOT of buzz. A majority of people loved them together, dare I say maybe half or more of his fans too and I’m one of them (but maybe not many on this board). Lily to me is like blah…
But whatever, I’m here to support Taylor and NOT Lily so who care about her.

I agree with Funny!
I don’t really about his private Life. If he want to be with Lily: good, with Taylor : good, with Sarah : good and with another girl (maybe he doesn’t want an ex or someone who work in this business) : good or with a boy (because it could be true, you’ll never know in Hollywood! Look at Ricky Martin for example) : good! I don’t fucking care.
And you should. It is because of this speculation that people ask him about his private Life. And again, they all could be good friend. That is normal. Not everybody want to be with someone everytime. Sometimes, you need to be alone and focus on your career.
I just want Abduction to be a hit at the Box Office and hear about another movie. Nothing more nothing less. It is not our business.
