amanda…I’ve seen that video and I’ve seen other pics of Twi cast gatherings and I always thought that they were just friends. Nikki is a nice person and she got a lot of hate from Robsten fans like Taylor so I think they had a lot in common. It would be interesting at the end of the saga, if the cast told who really hooked up with who. Someone from the cast may write a tell-all book for some big bucks. Who knows??

Lilly…the young guy that is with Taylor sometimes is his assistant. He is married with a child. He is often around Taylor when he is filming on location or at award shows. He was pictured coming out of a sushi restaurant in Vancouver with TL and was papped with him coming from Cirque. If I know this, I am sure people in the industry do too. It’s the snarky gossip sites that need hits that won’t tell the truth.

He mingled – did not “hang” with anyone mentioned “so far”) The “comments” tending towards the “sensational” do not come from “the industry”, rather outsiders who “pretend” to be insiders or just “barbed” tongued nobodies….totally expected & ignored…The only items that make “headlines” or warrant pro comment are those impugning or suggesting possible “illegal” or “intimidating” behavior from a “power” position, than you are skirting legal intervention and adverse publicity for yourself & your “employer”. freedom of speech guarantees expression of opinion…but sexuality is an overplayed, overrated overheated “cheap” way of sucking in those that haven’t the capacity, experience, or knowledge to realize it has no bearing on viability and job opportunities….just knee jerk reaction..it simply caters to those who have already made up their mind. It just goes with the territory.

@Marianne Individuals who use personal prejudices and vendettas to “attack” someone, will not be influenced by anything….they have already made up their minds….in so far as young fans are concerned…they are influenced more by the environment they live in then what they see or hear on the entertainment sites and/or blogs. Anything that falls in the realm of “controversy” has its adversarial & champion proponents – right now Taylor (& other young celebs) are in a – “damned if you do, damned if you don’t situation” – time & effort can be spent more productively in addressing other matters. You all seem to be familiar with Taylor & his many admirable attributes…stick with the positives…the negatives will eventually take care of themselves for better or worse.

Hi guys, I’m new here, and I just wanted to say you are the Best. The only fansite I have found with such intelligent and informative discussions on all the Taylor news. I’ve become a big Taylor fan in the past year or so( and am fast needing rehab for this addiction!)
I’ll say more about me later, but I wanted to say @visitor thank you, sounds like you know you what you are talking about, but I agree with Marianne. I am quite confused and upset by all this. I don’t understand what Taylor’s publicists are doing. I really do believe it is starting to impact on fans – not just those who with an axe to grind who have already made up their minds about him. I still believe Taylor is a wonderful, uniquely talented person under a slightly “scripted” public exterior who is basically who he says he is. However, recently and until I discovered this website I was starting to doubt all that and to believe the things people were saying – because there was little else “out there” to make me believe otherwise. Of course Taylor should be whoever he wants to be, but fans don’t want to feel like they’re being sold a lie or that someone is so private that the fans don’t even know who they are anymore. Having Taylor constantly shadowed by a male assistant – it seems like his publicists don’t care how this looks. I so want to go back to just admiring Taylor’s incredible looks and on-screen presence but all this is getting in the way. Please guys, reassure me!

As fans, the number one thing we want for Taylor is happiness. As long as he is enjoying whatever he is doing and is content, then that’s good enough for me.
Besides health, we obviously wish him all the best and that he has a successful career ahead of him whether he sticks to this industry or wants to go on and try something else.
Certain sites focus on trashing individuals and the ones who do the trashing are usually the ones in the comments section who have nothing better to do with their time.
Taylor is VERY private but that’s one of the things I admire most about him. He doesn’t need to run his mouth and tell everybody everything, he likes to keep things to himself and there’s nothing wrong with that. He doesn’t talk badly about anyone (especially his supposed ex lady friends) and keeps professional and private separate. I think it annoys people that he isn’t an open book and that they should know things because as fans they have a right to know his every move. People are so used to fame hungry celebs who tell all and relish in bad behaviour….they love watching it, “it’s entertainment” and the more scandalous the better!
Tay has lots of fans that love him, look up to him and admire him (guys and girls) but he also has a lot of haters, mainly down to jealousy. The haters always believe the negative even when it’s proven to be false which is sad.
This is why I adore this site, everyone on here radiates happiness and positive energy! :D
I hope it’s not too long until we get some news on his next project/s because knowing he will be on my cinema screen more than once in the next couple of years will make me VERY pleased indeed!

@Lilly I agree. :) It could have just been a friend of his or a family member like a cousin, someone said he likes taking his family and close friends to events and things to let them share his new life.

Katrina…welcome…love hearing from new fans. Unfortunately gossip sites are in the business for controversy and in getting hits. Since Taylor started so young in the Twi films, he has been accompanied by someone who looks out for him. Unfortunately, there are gossip sites like eonline that want hits and his name gets a lot of hits. There were a lot of studio people, mostly male, with Rob, Kristen and Taylor at this Oscar party.
Shazam…I just love your posts. I think it’s funny how some people still think his bodyguard is his dad! You said it so well concerning Taylor being private and that is an easy target for gossips to take advantage of. Part of it comes from the Martial Arts code to never speak ill of anyone and they know he won’t respond. His appearance with Sara Hicks at Cirque brought the haters out on her(I couldn’t believe some of the tweets) and I’m sure that is hard for him to see. I can’t add anything else to your well said post. I’m looking forward to his next project too.

Change of subject: I think he likes the color purple (besides his acknowledged “baby blue”, about time to get a little color into his wardrobe (of course this could make him a little too “pretty” and that would just open the flood gates for another round of him being accused of “tip toeing through the tulips — but since they do it anyway….let’s petition for some color – the monochromatic color scheme has run its course.
how many have read “Incarceron” (Book 2 is Sapphique) – somewhere on this site someone mentioned his “Cirque” trips may have had something to do with scouting costumes, acts for Incarceron. Isn’t there a sequence where they are under attack by “insects” (manufactured not real) (Cirque “Ovo” is about insects – just maybe somebody is on to something)

Welcome Katrina! This has become my favorite site and you’ll probably find yourself checking it several times a day to keep up with the great comments from everyone. I’m a fairly new Taylor fan, as well, and am completely addicted, but have no desire to seek treatment for it yet:)
All of this mess just makes me feel so sad for Taylor. He can’t go out with anyone b/c he is a “boyfriend” or she is a “beard.” NO WONDER he isn’t seen out very often. I don’t know how he deals with it as well as he has so far.
I think all of this hate from so many really boils down to a very simple word–jealousy. Taylor has found more success in the last few years than many in the business have over their whole careers. Critics bash him (unfairly) b/c Summit has exploited and played up his physical transformation so much, that they don’t take the time to actually critique his acting performances. Also, they hate the Twilight movies b/c they have been so commercially successful and are not some weird indie projects that the critics love and no one else cares about watching.
Others are jealous of his looks and popularity with women (and men). As we all know on here, he is much more beautiful than most mere mortals, so people can’t believe that he is just a normal young guy. He doesn’t brag about his “conquests” or talk about relationships or get into trouble, so they assume he has something to hide.
It is really a sad commentary on our society today that young performers like Chris Brown (from all accounts a batterer and someone with a serious attitude and anger problem) are admired and accepted without question by most in his industry (TWO Grammy performances with standing ovations) and a person like Taylor (from all accounts a decent, caring, talented, wonderful person) is ridiculed, mocked, and disrespected by so many. I just don’t understand. :(

Speaking of her… I don’t think anyone has seen a particular video of her, Efron and Betty White talking about relationships and dating, etc. She says something rather “fascinating.”
So my boyfriend was the one who saw the video link. He decided to click on it because he was curious and he knows how annoyed I am with her.
So we’re watching, and she basically says at one point in the interview: “No guy has done anything grand for me yet.” It had to do with part of the interview wherein there have been no bars “set” for a new guy in Swifter’s life.
As soon as my boyfriend watches her say that… and my attention is slightly diverted to the TV… but I hear that and immediately flick my middle finger at the computer screen. He says increduously, “WOW… you SNOBBY… bitch…” I look at him and I’m like.. “What???” And he goes, “Not you hon… HER.” Then I nod furiously and do the “SEE WHAT I MEAN??!!” gesture. Then he clicks it closed. It was pretty hilarious.

I’ve been trying to stay positive for our Tay’s sake. I’ve gotten this far, I’m not giving up on him now nor anytime soon. I was expecting the razzie nom but was hoping. People don’t remember from year to year who wins these things but the dogging on Taylor is not helping.
accv….re. TS…I like your fella, sounds like mine. TS ought to become the kind of girlfriend a guy would want to have instead of expecting them to drop at her feet. She is no catch. I am going to end this comment before I rant.
I noticed on a Robsten post an interesting item….Seems there was a paid “pap” at this Oscar party and while all the Robsteners wanted to know about their interaction, apparently the person that Kristen spent her time with was TL.

That’s so cute! I wouldn’t be surprised if Kristen and Taylor were hanging out. Most times I think they’re better friends than Kristen and Rob are. But sometimes I don’t know. I just saw this pic of Rob and Kristen at a birthday party together, so maybe they are together.

jamie…that pic you posted has been proven to be photoshopped. The head on Rob was from a promotional pic taken while he was in Berlin promoting Bel Ami.
alchemist… I do have a drug I get high on—God. Sorry if I upset you. The reason I mentioned the Taylor and Kristen interaction is because TL has said that they are extremely close friends and it is nice when others notice it too.

It’s not photoshopped. One of Kristen’s friends who was at the party was even pissed off that the picture got out. I don’t see the big deal anyway. It’s not like they’re kissing or something. She and Taylor are more affectionate than that all the time.

Wow! Gone for the weekend and I missed so much. First gaby I am SO glad you let us know you simply chose a wrong word in translation. I’m so relived- I fear for the safety of young women today. As for the Oscar party drama I have only one comment : gringocochino is a douchebag. Taylor is kind enough to take a picture with you and you spread a rumor about him. Way to go.
