   I’m so glad for new candids and to know he is alive!!! He’s smiling, seems happy and looks hot. I’m waiting for the tweets to Sara(who is now being referred to as the “munchkin”) about how he needs a new wardrobe since she received some for his CC shirt. Good grief.

   Could it be???? That looks a lot like the plaid shirt he wore to the MMAs a couple of years ago. I always love him in plaid. He knows EXACTLY what he is doing with those top buttons. I have never considered anyone’s neck to be one of their best features until now. All I can say is DAMN!! Sorry–”darn” just doesn’t cover it.

   Hehehe–That older man behind him at his car looks REALLY excited to see him.

   Now I think it was Teen Choice, not MMAs. I like how he wears clothes again. He’s not pretentious. I’d also like to be a spot on the wall (or various other places in the same room) when he gets ready to go out. I like to imagine he puts on a shirt, buttons it all the way up, checks the mirror, grins, unbuttons the top 2 and says to his reflection, “Nah, give ‘em what they want.”

    I think he’s just a little panache – like, “look, I do not kid Tay Tay, I got older, I have chest hair” :) it’s so cute .. He looks great, happy, joyful, maybe he will have a new project?
    I do not understand, Lainey wrote a whole article about it, it does not deserve such attention, and omg, of course, the hair on his chest * cough cough* and shooting by Sendler, it is a major sign that he has a big problem with a career in Hollywood, unlike Lainey`s favorite Robsten, she still ready to kiss their asses.

    Taylor and his career will be just fine. He’s handsome , mature, talented and I’m sure he knows by now who to trust and who to back away from………he is very confident………not desperate…….so I don’t think he’ll rush into projects just to say ……..look what I’m doing. Twilight is one of the biggest movie franchises ever…….which causes a lot of jealousy for those not involved w/ it. The truth is Tay will be famous the rest of his life…….simply because of Twilight……..which is a good thing………..everything else he does is icing on the cake. He doesn’t have to prove anything to anyone…….his fans support and luv him dearly.

    I think it said he’s on a list of potentials, so it could mean that’s just what the film people are thinking and he’s not involved and/or interested at all. Clever TV usually has most stuff right when it’s Twilight-related. Don’t think it’s a total tabloid show. I don’t know how I would feel about this–it’s probably just pure speculation, but it would certainly be interesting. . .and a definite departure from his previous roles.

    Tay sorta looks like…………Leann Rhimes husband…….can’t think of his name right now…but he’s dark and handsome. If he were cast in 50 shades as the lead male……..I could see Taylor as the younger version……..that would be spot on.
    Never read 50 shades…….and unless Tay is confirmed to be in a movie version……my interest in it stops here. His name could be thrown out …….to give the story more attention ……which is happening. Taylor did an interview w/ Matt Lauer…..when he was promoting New Moon……..he said he wanted to do an action movie, romance and comedy (maybe not in that order) , but he seems to be getting his wish….Abduction-action, Grown Ups2- comedy and if this is true….romance. Well he’ll have plenty of time to do romance…..cutie pie.

    Taylor as Grey? He’d look so hot with those gray eyes man…hope it’s true. Hope he plays the older Grey actually…would be different to see him a sexual/dominant role. Holy sh…

    Vera.. I don’t read Lainey’s comments, so I can’t comment on what it said. I have no idea the content of her article.

    As far as gossip blogs are concerned, they will make the most of this enormous Twilight phenomenon while they can. Taylor will always be at at a disadvantage because his character was simply the disadvantaged one in Twilight. They are trying to cash in on the Twilight template, which is a real-life couple (R/K) and Taylor as the odd one out. The Twilight template was so phenomenally successful in the books, if they can transfer it to real life, it will get attention to their blogs/websites/articles. Taylor is very young, and it’s always easy to pick on young people and say they are ‘trying to act mature’. Race also has a role here. Taylor got famous for playing a Native American, and while he’s never said he’s inherently Native American himself, I think it does matter that he’s essentially a brown-skinned person, while R/K are very much white, and plays a big part in how he’s seen and the part he has in the wider Hollywood structure.

    I do worry about Taylor’s career. There’s very little news lately. I also don’t think Tracers sounds very promising. I hope the Gus Van Sant project happens, because I think a good performance with a strong director would open all kinds of doors for him.

    I do think we’ll get more project announcements once Breaking Dawn promo starts. Actors like to leak these things when they’ll get the most attention.

    People should ignore Lainey though. She’s obviously on the payroll for KStew. She defends her all the time, while hating on Taylor, Ashley, Kellan, and even Rob (she’s nicer right now, just out of pity, but she still says he’ll be an Orlando Bloom who’ll fade away soon).

    I just can not understand why so many people read famous gossips , and why they are so popular …

    Russia also has a yellow press, but such odious journalists generally despise and disrespected, and their blogs are not so popular ..

    I don’t think fans should worry about Tay’s career…..he’s not some timid presence. He’ll fight for what he wants and Tracers sounds good to me. I think it will do better than Premium Rush w/ the guy from 3rd rock which bombed. We need to show support , he’s gonna be just fine…….but knowing his fans are behind him doesn’t hurt.
    Tay should not stay on the indie route long……he has a big budget personality…….very charismatic……….Abduction could have been better….but it was the script ….not him. The studio just saw a twilight kid that they could make some quick money off of…….they didn’t care that the script was lacking. When it didn’t work ALL of the blame fell on a teenager….really?? His features are exotic…..yummy…….sometimes you can’t tell what his race is? He can actually blend in with everyone….which is another plus…….and Hollyweird is not as liberal as they claim so roles may go to those with lighter features………..but those with that narrow view will soon fade out…….and I have faith that Mr. Lautner will be around for awhile. And the gossip rags that spew negativity…….are nothing more than the OPINIONS of people…..normally twice his age….. full of envy and ignorance. Luv ya Taylor …….with your fine ass…..lol!!

    vera…I know what you mean about so many people reading garbage blogs. I never understand why people spend their hard earned money on Star, In Touch mags etc. as well.

    chanda w….Once again I bow to you girl. You have expressed my thoughts on Taylor and his career so well. I think since New Moon, a lot more girls wanted a tanned guy and not a pale one. LOL. Even the Miss Velveeta Cheese of country appreciated his “tanned skin and sweet smile.”

    Marianne–I’ll take tanned over pale and pasty any day! In my life BT (Before Taylor), I usually favored blue eyes and light brown hair. Not anymore–he has converted me to tan skin and brown eyes forever. ;)

    chanda w–I like the way you sum things up, too. Even though we all concur that the Abduction script was severely lacking, I still enjoyed the movie b/c of Taylor. If given the right script, right directior, and a real chance, I think he will one day completely blow everyone away and I can’t wait for people to have to eat their words.

    Taylor’s may have a chance to play the character of Christian Grey in Fifty Shades of Grey. Hell….am going to see that movie. Now see that’s just the movie that I’ve been waiting to see him in. That book was Juicy and sexy….just like Taylor! I could lick my name on his stomach….ya’ll read it if you dare!!!!!!
