Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am is to DJ at next month’s Teen Choice Awards 2011. Will.i.am will play a selection of today’s hits throughout the program. Jason Derulo is to take the stage to perform his latest single ‘Don’t Wanna Go Home’, which has topped the UK singles chart and reached the top 20 in the US.
Taylor Lautner, Nikki Reed, Taylor Swift and Kristen Bell will also be on hand for the Teen Choice Awards 2011. Joining them will be Jason Bateman, Tyra Banks, Kellan Lutz and Joel McHale. The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Glee and Selena Gomez lead this year’s Teen Choice nominees.
Fans can vote on the Teen Choice Awards 2011 website until August 5. The Teen Choice Awards 2011 will air Sunday, August 7 at 8pm ET/PT on Fox.

For this year’s Teen Choice Awards, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and its cast were nominated in several categories (see the full list here). Castmembers nominated for individual awards include Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, and Bryce Dallas Howard.
So, who will represent Twilight at this year’s event?
Early reports speculate that Taylor Lautner and Nikki Reed will be on-hand to represent the Twilight Saga at this year’s event, but nothing has been confirmed just yet.
Kristen Stewart is busy preparing for the August production beginning of her newest project, Snow White And The Huntsman, and Robert Pattinson has been filming Cosmopolis in Toronto for the past few weeks. However, that’s not to say their schedules aren’t conducive to their attendance at August 5th’s Teen Choice Awards event.
In 2009, Pattinson, Stewart, Lautner, Lutz, and Jackson Rathbone were among those present from the Twilight group, and last year, Pattinson, Lautner, Greene, Rathbone, and Reed were all in attendance.

“The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” is the undeniable lead contender at this year’s Teen Choice Awards. The flick received 12 nods, including Choice Movie: Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Choice Movie Actor: Sci-Fi/Fantasy for both Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner and Choice Movie Actress: Sci-Fi/Fantasy for Kristen Stewart.
The other big nominations for the flick include two for Choice Movie: Liplock (for K-Stew’s kisses with both Lautner and RPattz), Bryce Dallas Howard for Choice Movie: Villain, Kellan Lutz for Choice Movie: Male Scene Stealer and Ashley Greene for Choice Movie: Female Scene Stealer.
But there are some other movies, TV shows and musicians vying for surfboards on August 7. “Glee,” “The Vampire Diaries,” “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1,” Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez and “The Hangover Part II” all received nominations for the show, which airs on Fox.
Gomez and Swift face off against each other in the Choice Music: Love Song category for their songs “Love You Like a Love Song” and “Mine,” respectively. They are up against Allstar Weekend (“Come Down With Love”), Bruno Mars (“Just the Way You Are”) and Katy Perry (“Teenage Dream”).
Interestingly enough, exes Joe Jonas (who is also up for Choice Male Hottie) and Swift battle it out in the Choice Break-Up Song category. Swift is nominated for “Back to December” and Jonas for his solo single “See No More.” They go up against Adele (“Rolling in the Deep”), Cee Lo Green (“Forget You”) and Mars (“Grenade”).
