If Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards are any indication, younger fans of “The Twilight Saga” prefer Jacob to Edward. The 2010 award nominations saw Taylor Lautner nominated for Favorite Movie Actor (Robert Pattinson was conspicuously absent from this nomination). And though both Bella and Edward and Bella and Jacob were nominated for the Cutest Couple award, it was Bella and Jacob who won the category.
Now it’s 2011, and nominees were recently announced. Absent again is Robert Pattinson from the nominees. This time, Taylor Lautner is absent as well, as is a nod for the Twilight Saga itself, which was nominated for Best Book Series in 2010.
The only Twilight nomination this year has gone to Kristen Stewart, who received her first nomination for Favorite Movie Actress. Her competition? Miley Cyrus, Ashley Judd, and Emma Watson. Voting is not yet open; the show will air the evening of April 2nd.

VANCOUVER — Vampire fans, sharpen your fangs: the Twilight stars will be arriving in Vancouver in the coming days.
Twilight mania is upon us once more, setting paparazzi, Twi-hards and Hollywood North crew into a blood-fuelled tizzy. Pre-production began in early February, and filming is expected to begin this week.
And yet, a cloak of silence keeps fans in the dark. Will heartthrobs Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner sneak into Vancouver on a late-night flight, ushered quietly through a back door and into a waiting limousine? Or will they arrive early Monday or Tuesday morning, while their fanatical school-age fans head off to class?
Rumours abound about their pending arrival, putting tweeters and internet bloggers on high alert, whirling with speculation.
Twilight: Breaking Dawn, the latest instalment in the Stephenie Meyer series, has wrapped up filming in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and is in the midst of transplanting cast to Hollywood North.
Filming will take place in British Columbia until April. Bella Swan’s (played by Stewart) house has returned to Kerry Park in Surrey, where filming of previous Twilight films took place. The white, wooden-framed structure has been decorated with Christmas decorations and is ready for action, although it’s unknown when the cast will come calling.
Another location — Jacob Black’s (Lautner) red, ramshackle house in Port Coquitlam — has also been prepped for filming.
Indoor scenes will be shot at a yet-unknown Metro Vancouver production studio.
A recent report on Hollywoodlife.com blabbed that the cast will film in the city of Vancouver on one day only: March 14, at an unnamed theatre for part of the day, and then on Beatty Street in the downtown Eastside. The site credits the Directors Guild of Canada for saying Breaking Dawn will shoot from Feb. 21 to April 13 in British Columbia.

Will Harry Potter and Twilight be uniting in a new film? Emma Watson is reportedly the top contender to star opposite Taylor Lautner in Incarceron!
Just Jared exclusively reports that Emma is the top choice to play Claudia.
Incarceron is a fantasy and science fiction novel written by Catherine Fisher and the second novel in the series, Sapphique, was just released yesterday.
According to Just Jared, Taylor is already attached to star in the movie adaptation and it looks like he could have Emma by his side.
Do you think that would be a good pairing?

In Breaking Dawn, Bella and Edward have a daughter named Renesmee, who is half vampire, half human. As a result of her “mixed” status, she ages at rapid speed. In the past, before the “Dawn” of new technology, this would have been a serious problem for filmmakers who obviously want the character to look like the same person but cannot film over a lifetime.
Now, the bright and capable tech wizards behind The Twilight Saga have a plan. Mackenzie Foy will play Renesmee… for the most part, but as the character ages her head will be digitally superimposed onto the bodies of other girls. So far, Foy, Eliza Faria, Rachel St. Gelais and Sierra Pitkin are confirmed for the role.

When you’re a teen heartthrob making eight-figures per film, you tend to attract some pretty high-profile leading ladies. Such is the case for Taylor Lautner, who is starring in the upcoming adaptation of the young adult novel “Incarceron.”
Deadline has the scoop that Fox 2000 is in the process of casting his romantic interest (a young woman named Claudia), and that their top three picks are “Gossip Girl” actress and geek dream Blake Lively, “Harry Potter” starlet Emma Watson and likely Oscar contender Jennifer Lawrence.
Those are three surprising and very different picks to star opposite Taylor. Claudia is the daughter of the warden of Incarceron, a brutal prison sealed off from the rest of the world where Finn (Taylor) is trapped. She, simultaneously, is trapped in the Realm, which is modeled after the 17th century.
Find out which of the three actresses we think is the best choice after the jump, and then cast your vote for who you think should co-star!
Full disclosure: I haven’t read “Incarceron,” but from what I’ve read of the description, Blake Lively seems way too old for the role (and too tall to be a believable love interest for Taylor). She’s a great fashionista and will prove she can handle sci-fi/fantasy in “Green Lantern,” but she just doesn’t have the right look for a girl living her life in a faux 17th century world.
Emma, on the other hand, seems like she would be the perfect fit for the character, but she has too much baggage with her from “Harry Potter” to star in a movie opposite a “Twilight” hottie. It sounds obnoxious to say, but if it were the two of them starring as romantic interests in a film, that is all the film would be about, though it would probably get tons of people to the theater. Also, isn’t Emma trying to give up acting?
That leaves Jennifer Lawrence, who in my opinion seems like the best pick for the role. She’s proven she’s great with dramatic roles in “The Burning Plain” and “Winter’s Bone,” is the right age and has the right look to play opposite Taylor, and will prove her nerd cred in the upcoming “X-men: First Class” (she’s playing Mystique). That, and she’s not too well-known to overshadow what is ultimately Taylor’s star vehicle. Plus, I think the two of them would look adorable together.

Before it was Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift it was Taylor Lautner and Taylor Dooley! Taylor D. starred with Taylor L. in The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl, which was the first film both of them had worked on! So what was it like working with the now Twilight hunk back then?
Awkward!
“I kiss Sharkboy on the cheek in the movie, and it was my first on screen kind of kiss on the cheek thing. So Robert [Rodriguez] (the director) embarrassed me by saying, ‘Oh it’s going to be green screen so you don’t actually have to kiss Taylor. You can kiss this wooden pole.’ So he wrapped this wooden pole in green tape, made me say my lines and kiss the wooden pole like it was Taylor,” she explained to PopEater. “I was like, ‘Alright cool. Let’s do this.’”
After several takes, Robert then told Taylor to “really stay there a long time and kiss the pole. Then he was like, ‘Alright now bring in Taylor.’ Everybody in the crew just started cracking up laughing, and Taylor was just laughing so hard. My face was so funny. They knew I was freaking out about it cause the moms had been talking about it,” she admitted. “I was 11 or 12 when we shot it, and we were like best friends. I was like, ‘This is weird!’ Taylor made fun of be about that forever. The whole entire time I had no idea. I was so into it.”
But Taylor D. says she still remains to be good friends with the now Twilight star and sees him “all the time.”
“It was terrible to deal with. I remember the first day everybody was like, ‘Can we bring Taylor to set? Well, which Taylor?’ And it was the biggest mix-up all the time. So Robert was like, ‘Let’s make this easy. You’re Sharky and you’re Lava.’ For the rest of the set we were Sharky and Lava the entire time.”
“Taylor’s been trying to get me to read them, but the movies are really good. I’m really excited for Taylor about everything that Twilight has done for him,” she said of her former co-star. “I’m really proud of him. I know he’s enjoying it and having a blast.”
And Taylor D. is hoping to get back into Hollywood (she turns 18 on Feb. 26) after taking some time off for school.
“I would love to play a character that I could sink my teeth into, whether it’s a movie, TV, comedy or drama,” she said. “I feel like there’s a lot of different parts of my personality that I’d like to show. I would be a lot of fun to be on anything to be honest.”
Maybe the two Taylors will be co-stars again someday!

Nessie Mackenzie.com is reporting an exclusive on Breaking Dawn on-set information!
As you already know, the last chapter of the Twilight saga: Breaking Dawn is being filmed in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The cast is expected to move to Vancouver, Canada in February to end with the shooting of both movies (Breaking Dawn part I & Breaking Dawn part II).
Yes, they’re filming BD part I and part II at the same time. “They shoot the battle, then it’s the end, then another love scene. And that’s how it goes. Part I, part II. Part I, part II. Only interiors, though” Says our On-Set source.
We’re guessing they’re shooting both films at the same time to avoid any kind of problems with their ages/look. But our source says “It’s also a post-production matter. It’ll be easier for them to edit the whole thing at the same time.”
About the cast: “They’re having a great time on set. They’re not only working, but having fun with friends. Lots of private parties, movies and jokes. ”
“It’s like a huge family. Robert walks on set like ‘Where’s my daughter?’ (referring to Mackenzie). He’s really funny” It sounds like they’re having so much fun on set!

“Incarceron” may become a project that unites “Twilight” hunk and “Harry Potter” beauty outside their hit franchises. Taylor Lautner has already been booked to take the lead role of Finn in the upcoming sci-fi movie, and rumor has it Emma Watson is a possible depicter of his love interest.
The British actress, who is famously known for her portrayal of Hermione Granger, will not easily land the coveted role for “Gossip Girl” beauty Blake Lively and “Winter’s Bone” lead star Jennifer Lawrence are reportedly also the frontrunners for the role. Whoever cast in the film will likely be seen playing Claudia, who helps Lautner’s character to escape a savage, futuristic prison society.
Previously revealed plotline describes Claudia as the daughter of the warden, who is trapped in her own prison, a futuristic world constructed beautifully to look like the 17th Century. She knows nothing of Incarceron except that it exists. She and Finn find a crystal key at the same time and it allows them to communicate and try to create an escape plan for Finn.
“Incarceron”, set up at Fox 2000, is based on Catherine Fisher’s young adult novel of the same title. Adam Cooper and Bill Collage, who work on upcoming Universal Pictures comedy “Tower Heist”, are writing the script, but no director is attached to the film yet.
On a side note, it has just been reported that Taylor Lautner gets each an 8-digit paycheck to star in “Incarceron” and an untitled spy thriller from New Regency that is described as ” ‘The Bourne Identity’ for the next generation.” Deadline Hollywood, which broke the news of Watson’s possible involvement in “Incarceron”, additionally says that three top producers including Michael Bay and his Platinum Dunes are aiming to get Lautner to star in their movies for 2012 and beyond.

When it comes to his upcoming thriller, “Abduction,” Taylor Lautner has spoken enthusiastically about the intense training he endured — including boxing and motorcycle riding — and his excitement for what he terms the film’s “amazing” story.
All good stuff, no doubt, but what many of you really want to know about his first major role outside the “Twilight” franchise is one thing: Just how much shirt-free, ab-proud time is the 18-year-old going to have onscreen?
Hate to dash dreams, but — despite those tantalizing set pics that popped up on the Web last summer — the answer is: not much at all.
“It’s not about that!” co-star Lily Collins laughed in a recent interview. “It’s about his acting skills in this one. I feel everyone is going to be surprised to see how much he’s grown. This movie is not about that aspect of him. It’s very, very, very minimal. He brings so much more than that. I feel people are going to be blown away.”
Collins — who MTV News tapped as one of our 11 for ’11 and who, like Lautner, is about take on a wildly popular book franchise as the star of the “Mortal Instruments” series — told us she learned a ton from watching how the “Twilight” star interacted with his fans during the “Abduction” shoot.
“I would watch the way he deals with his fans. It’s incredible,” she told us. “We’d be shooting at nights where we finish at 7 in the morning, and one night, we had 600 fans in the middle of nowhere in Pittsburgh waiting outside, and it was probably almost 5 in the morning, and he went out and signed every single autograph. He was always there to be with his fans and to make sure they knew he appreciated them.
“I watched that and I took note that it’s always important to give back and to make sure the people that support you know that you support them,” Collins added. “He’s so humble in dealing with everyone that looks up to him.”

Taylor Lautner’s new romance is continuing to grow.
The 18-year-old hunk has been quietly dating 21-year-old actress Lily Collins – whose father is ‘In The Air Tonight’ singer Phil Collins – for several months and though it is still early days between the two, pals expect their relationship to progress when they begin promoting their new movie ‘Abduction’ together.
A source told gossip website PopEater: “They appear to be seeing each other, but it’s too early to see what will happen because they are both young. They make a cute couple. Once ‘Abduction’ is released this fall, they will be spending even more time together promoting it.”
Though they have not yet confirmed their relationship, Taylor reportedly met Lily’s hard-to-please father late last year and was delighted to get the seal of approval.
A source said in November: “Phil is pretty tough on the guys Lily introduces him to. But they got along well.”
The pair were first romantically linked in July, when it was reported Taylor had seduced his co-star on the set of ‘Abduction’ by “constantly flashing his shirtless six pack,” despite her having a boyfriend.
A source said at the time: “Lily told pals that she wasn’t looking to fall in love, but soon realised she had strong romantic feelings.
“Taylor was smitten from day one, but Lily let him know she was in a relationship with a stuntman who was working on a Steven Spielberg movie in New Mexico. When the boyfriend got suspicious because Lily didn’t return calls promptly, he hopped a plane and turned up unannounced to confront her.”
