Kristen Stewart has showered praise on her Twilight co-star Taylor Lautner.

The actress reveals the pair get on well and feels the 17-year-old has come a long way since their first film.

‘He’s literally become a different person,’ she says. ‘He’s just grown up.

‘He’s so confident and the nicest guy I have ever met, and the funniest guy I have ever hung out with.

‘He’s great. I’m so proud of him.’

Kristen, 19, says she and Taylor play a few games together on set to pass the time.

‘I like sports so between takes we’d play catch,’ she tells Celebs On Sunday. ‘I can throw a grape from across the room and Taylor will catch it in his mouth.’

While he’s certainly doing quite well with his skills in front of the cameras, Taylor Lautner seems to be having a tough time with his driving skills.

The 17-year-old “Twilight” hunk recently purchased an Audi R8 – but the $150,000 sportscar may have a bit too much power for the recently licensed actor.

Having stalled out numerous times upon his outings in the Audi, a source tells, “Taylor didn’t really know how drive a stick when he bought the car.”

“Plus, the Audi R8 is complicated. It’s full of controls that even the most experienced driver would have trouble getting used to,” the insider adds.

Nonetheless, Mr Lautner is yet to give up on his new ride – as he’s still trying to master the speedy machine.

Months after Selena Gomez shot down all the rumors about her and Taylor Lautner dating, she still thinks he’s amazing.

The 17-year-old actress opened to KIISFM’s Ryan Seacrest on his radio show this morning about her relationship with the 17-year-old Twilight actor and BFF Taylor Swift.

Selena had nothing but kinds words about Lautner, using the words “awesome” and “amazing” several times.

Some non-romance related updates for you Twi-Hards, this has to do with shooting location in response to the daily flurry of emails I receive for production information related to the 4th and possibly 5th movie(s).

You’ll recall I was the first to report that due to provincial tax credit drama and competing incentives, Portland became a more viable location. Despite reports elsewhere, as of this weekend, no final decision has been made. Having said that, Vancouver remains Summit’s first choice even though the tax credit situation has yet to be sorted.

My sources tell me exclusively Summit representatives met with the BC government just before Christmas to see if a favourable arrangement could be worked out. That meeting concluded with NO commitments from government officials who explained that they were not prepared to look at any new tax structure until after the Olympics. Summit was hoping to make a decision sooner.

Further, many crew members who worked on Twilight New Moon and Eclipse are now working on the new Fox show Human Target (shot in Vancouver) which enjoyed a solid debut the other night. As of two days ago, those crew members have not been informed of any movement to go back to Twilight. Yet.

There’s been some buzz among certain local special effects firms that a contract is coming, anticipating a June start date. The timing is encouraging for those lobbying for a Twilight return. This would allow for 3 months of prep before principle photography in September. So it looks promising… but there are still many variables at play. Will keep you posted.

The Twilight star — who recently split from Love Story singer Taylor Swift — has had enough of dating girls who are preoccupied with themselves and instead is opting for the single life for a while.

“I just want someone who can be themselves. Not put on a show,” said Taylor. “It is as simple as that. I’m not dating anyone right now.”

Following Lautner’s split from Swift, it was claimed the two Taylors decided to call time their short-lived, highly-publicized romance after a series of fights over food.

A representative for Taylor Lautner has dismissed internet speculation the Twilight hunk died after an alleged overdose.

Reports suggesting the 17-year-old star had died began circulating widely on Monday after it was reported on a number of internet blogs and by users on social networking site Twitter.com.

The bogus rumours alleged Lautner died at a Hollywood party after accidentally overdosing on cocaine.

But a spokesperson for Twilight film studio Summit Entertainment has moved quickly to confirm Lautner is still alive, insisting, “This is a hoax.”

Star Magazine is reporting that Taylor Lautner may have broken up with country cutie Taylor Swift to rekindle his relationship with ex-girlfriend and Disney Star Selena Gomez.

Taylor S and Selena had been hanging out quite a bit right after Sel and Taylor L broke up, that is, until he started dating Taylor S. The two remained friends but weren’t spotted out and about as much in public.

There didn’t seem to be any animosity between the two lovely ladies over sharing a certain werwolf, but we’re not sure if that remains true if Star Magazine is correct and he has rebounded back to Selena again.

The insider who spoke to the magazine said that Taylor S and Taylor L ended their time together because “apart from their name, they don’t have much in common.”

Taylor Swift has no hard feelings for ex Taylor Lautner.

Although the two never crossed paths at the People’s Choice Awards at L.A.’s Nokia Theatre Wednesday night, it seems they were already on the road to friendship.

When the New Moon star, 17, scored an award for Favorite Breakout Actor, the country singer, 20, and her mother Andrea graciously stood up to give him a standing ovation.

The two Taylors split in late December after three months of dating, Us Weekly first reported.

Because Swift loves the number 13, Lautner had a special surprise of 13 ornately wrapped presents.

“The gifts included a $50,000 ruby necklace, a stuffed teddy bear and even a poster of Kanye West — who wrecked Taylor’s VMA appearance — as a gag,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer.

Twilight actress Julia Jones recently dished on filming Eclipse and shed a bit of light on the celebrity diets of the vampire and werewolf franchise.

“We ate a lot of chocolate, anything round that was throwable,” RadarOnline.com quoted Julia as saying. She almost mentioned co-star Taylor Lautner had the best target practice of the bunch.

“It got very competitive,” she told Radar. “[On] how many grapes or chocolates could you get in someone’s mouth.”

As for the star, we’re hoping she fueled her body with more than just sweets. Speaking of the scenes in which she transforms into a werewolf, Jones says her arms hurt so bad from the filming work that she couldn’t use them for days after.

“I realized after 18 takes that I was landing on the ground and I had dirt on my chin,” she said. While co-star and werewolf Taylor Lautner had the martial arts training to back up his Eclipse power moves, Jones found breaking in the training a bit more painful.

She told Radar, “I couldn’t lift my arms for four days!”

‘New Moon’ star hangs out with Bon Jovi, Andy Samberg, Seth Meyers at ‘Saturday Night Live’ afterparty. After giving Kanye West a piece of his mind and spoofing his famous abs during his hosting stint on “Saturday Night Live” this weekend, “New Moon” star Taylor Lautner still had a little energy left in him to enjoy the “SNL” afterparty.

The 17-year-old actor, along with the night’s musical guest Jon Bon Jovi, hung with the cast of the show at New York hotspot Matsuri. While chilling out with “SNL” stars Andy Samberg and Seth Meyers, Lautner dined on a sirloin steak, according to MTV News sources.

Taylor Swift, Lautner’s rumored girlfriend, was not at the party, despite the fact that she was in town the night before to perform at Z100’s Jingle Ball. Lautner reportedly left the shindig at around 4 a.m., surrounded by bodyguards, while fans waited outside the restaurant to catch a glimpse of the star.

Lautner was the first Twilighter to host the famed comedy show. And when he wasn’t taking a good-natured jab at the Swift romance rumors (much like she did when she hosted the show last month), he was joking about “Twilight” fans and the fact that he is shirtless during much of “New Moon.”

“I took my shirt off a lot — too much, in fact,” Lautner said in his monologue. “Even Matthew McConaughey told me to cool it.”

Will a “Twilight Saga” star be stepping into Pee-Wee Herman’s white wingtips?

“Taylor Lautner’s playing Pee-Wee in the movie. That’s what I understand,” Paul Reubens, in character as Pee-Wee, joked to Access Hollywood on Monday.

The “Pee-Wee’s Playhouse” star is making a comeback with a new stage show in Los Angeles, debuting at Club Nokia in January – and he added that a pair of movies are in the works.

“There’s going to be at least two new movies. Most people don’t know about it, yet, including all the studios,” he laughed with his trademark “ha-ha.” “I’m sure there will be in my lifetime.”

As for the reason to resurrect his famous character, Paul said he just felt Pee- Wee calling.

“I just got up one day and felt like I’m gonna come back, that was it,” Paul said. “I just felt like, ‘Not doing that much, might be fun to rehearse a show for weeks and weeks and weeks.’”

In the meantime, the funnyman has been involved in scientific pursuits.

“I’m involved a lot with the Jet Propulsion Lab in Pasadena, space exploration,” he said. “We just discovered water on the moon, I’m sure you’ve heard about that. In my spare time.”

I always feel like Robert Pattinson gets all the spotlight when it comes to Summit Entertainment’s “Twilight” franchise. The British star who plays Edward Cullen in the series can’t be blamed, but Taylor Lautner never seems to get the credit he deserves…until now that is. Moviefone recently compiled a list of the hottest new actors to grace the big screen this year and Mr. Taylor just so happened to be on top. The site says Taylor “redefines teenage hunk in his breakout role. There is a reason why Taylor beat out the rest of the notable names on this list for the top spot: sheer box office brawn.” Finally, Lautner has received the recognition he deserves. “Star Trek’s” Chris Pine also made the list as well as “Twilight” star Anna Kendrick.

Taylor Lautner is poised to become the next face of Giorgio Armani. According to a fashion insider, the Italian designer is trying to sign the Twilight hunk for a new ad campaign for fragrances, as well as for his more affordable line of clothing, A/X Armani Exchange. “Giorgio has offered Taylor a deal rumored to be worth millions for the ads,” the insider reveals. And although a rep for Taylor denies the story, the insider adds, “Taylor is flattered and really considering it.” If he does take the job, he’ll have some big briefs to fill. Soccer star David Beckham sent huge crowds into hysterics when he turned up at Selfridges & Co. in London to unveil his underwear ad. Taylor completely bulked up to play the werewolf Jacob in New Moon. “I went from a men’s small to a men’s large,” he says.

Taylor Swift had a special visitor last night at KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball 2009 concert in downtown Los Angeles.

Yup, Mr. Taylor Lautner was in the house.

But you wouldn’t have known it if you weren’t backstage. Lucky for you, one of our eagle-eyed spies gave us a full report…

The New Moon star used a private entrance to enter Nokia Theatre L.A. at about 8:45 pm, the source tells us. He came alone, the source says, and made a beeline for Swift’s dressing room.

Once inside, the two definitely seemed like a couple. Lautner spent most of his time with the country pop singer, but was also spotted chatting with her mom and other members of her entourage. “Taylor’s mom was constantly smiling around him,” our source said.

Seems like they really wanted to keep things on the downlow because Lautner didn’t pop into the audience for Swift’s performance. Instead, he watched her wow the crowd from the side of the stage.

No word if Swift plans to be in New York City next weekend when Lautner makes his debut as host of Saturday Night Live.
